I began my career in the lending industry as a processor six years ago in Boise, Idaho, where I was born and raised. I relocated to Arizona in 2009 and began working as an executive assistant/loan coordinator/marketing coordinator for Security Mortgage in Scottsdale. In my current position as Executive Support/Director of Marketing at V.I.P., I play many different roles in order to support executive management, sales and operations staff.
When it comes to customer service, I believe you should treat others like you would want to be treated and give a 110 percent to each and every customer, partner, and colleague. This attitude is evident in the staff and V.I.P., and working here is more than a job; we are a family. Every employee is treated with respect, appreciation and kindness. We all work together to help one another grow, succeed and meet our short and long term goals. V.I.P. is definitely the most incredible team I have had the opportunity to be a part of.
Away from work, I love to be social and active. I enjoy traveling, hiking, lounging by the pool, barbecues, watching football, reading, music and movies, as well as spending time with friends and family, which includes my dog, Ava,

I have been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years and have been a member of the V.I.P. team for the past 2 ½ years. I started my career as a customer service rep in the mortgage lending dept. for a Bank in Buffalo, NY. I moved to Arizona in 1986 and began processing mortgage loan applications, eventually advancing to the underwriting department where I have found my niche.
My husband and I enjoy taking day rides on his Harley Davidson, and exploring our beautiful state whenever possible. We have a small dog named Gracie, and I have in the past, owned horses, which are my passion.
I am an active member of the Landscape Committee in my subdivision for the past 10 years where we oversee the landscape maintenance of the 24 acre property.
I enjoy working at V.I.P. Mortgage where I have been reunited with many friends I have worked with at prior companies and have met even more new friends since joining the team. The spirit of cooperation is demonstrated daily as everyone is always ready to assist one another when needed. I especially enjoy assisting in training of loan processors and other staff. It is a true pleasure to work for a company where everyone works together so well and take great pride in providing our customers with excellent service.

I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Journalism, but got into the mortgage business even before graduating. After graduation, I decided to stay with it and I have never looked back.
For more than 14 years, I have been helping customers make one of the most important decisions of their life. As a loan processor, I consider it my job to make the transaction as easy and seamless as possible, helping to alleviate the stress that buying a home can have on clients. I want our customers to be able to focus on more important things, like the joy of homeownership.
The camaraderie and team work at V.I.P. seems effortless. I am so proud to work for a company where everyone is so willing to help each other out, regardless of rank or title. It really feels like a family.
My life is a quiet one. My significant other and I have 2 cats and enjoy watching my nephews play sports – football, basketball, baseball – you name it, we’re avid supporters. I also enjoy gardening in my free time. Lastly, I love to travel. It is my passion, but as much as I love to go, the old cliché rings true: There’s no place like home.
Born and raised in Colorado, I joined the Marines and served in Desert Storm. After my honorable discharge, I moved to Arizona, which is where I began the biggest adventure of my life: mortgages.
You name it; I’ve seen it and done it in this industry. With nearly 20 years of mortgage experience under my belt, I envisioned a place where people are the priority, and V.I.P. was born.
What drives me is seeing people succeed and achieve their personal goals. I envisioned a club for tenured and seasoned mortgage professionals that collectively run efficiently to provide customers with the ultimate experience.
At V.I.P., our culture emphasizes unity and family. Here, everyone believes in making this company better because it’s OUR company. Our crew embraces the entrepreneurial freedom to be creative and successful, without having the liability of running a company. By providing an innovative organization that delivers the best origination platform and mortgage tools, we attract employees committed to learning, growing and always improving. We promote an attitude that encourages employee’s optimism and problem solving.
V.I.P. aims to raise the bar by restoring the reputation of the mortgage industry, and always be looking for ways to improve every day in order to stay ahead of our industry leaders. It is my personal goal to make the borrowing experience something you want to tell your friends and family about and you do this because of the personal service V.I.P. provided you in making you feel like you mattered.
I have originated loans in the mortgage industry for more than 20 years, specializing in purchases for all home buyers. I feel very fortunate to work with a company like V.I.P. where all aspects of the loan take place under one roof. In-house underwriting, processing and funding enable me to get you into your new home in as little as 10 days.
My key to success is definitely communication. Having done this for so long, I can anticipate the questions you may have, the hurdles we may encounter, and how to reassure you of the big decisions you are making. I will guide you through all of it, hoping to make your next home purchase as effortless and affordable as possible.
I have been happily married for more than 20 years. We have two girls who I adore and I love woodworking on the side.

I began my career in the mortgage business 12 years ago as an Account Manager for a lender in Phoenix where I was able to hone my customer service and team building skills. This led to becoming an Underwriter with one of the largest lenders in the industry.
I strive to provide excellent customer service and believe the key components of this are communication, a positive attitude and giving 110%.
In my spare time I spend time with my family and friends and two dogs and am an ardent Notre Dame & University of Arizona football fan. I also do volunteer work and enjoy taking advantage of all the Valley has to offer.
I really enjoy working at VIP with such a wonderful and knowledgeable group of people. We truly are a team, working together to exceed expectations and providing the very best customer experience.

I began my career as a Loan Processor about 8 years ago, first working as the sole processor for a mortgage broker. In 2008, I moved over to the banker side where I was consistently rated a top performer and landed at my new home here at V.I.P. Mortgage in 2009. It is my responsibility to work with your mortgage banker to ensure that your file moves through the loan process with the utmost efficiency and ease.
I am the very proud mother of 4 children (ranging in age from 8 to 16) who keep me very busy outside of work. You can usually find me at one of their football, basketball or baseball games as either a team mom or fan. My children and I also enjoy going to church and to the movies.
I believe in treating people as I would like people to treat me, so I work hard to ensure everyone is happy and informed.
VIP Mortgage is my home away from home. The best part about working here is that we are a close knit group of people. We all work together, from Origination to QC to Processing to Underwriting to Closing, towards our ultimate goal…to you get you into your home with the mortgage that best suits your needs and family.

In my 20 years in the business, I’ve seen it all. I worked in the closing department for six years before moving into processing. In those eight years, I worked with two of Phoenix’s largest mortgage brokers, developing new systems that better organized myself, creating more efficiency, and therefore, higher quality loans. Moving into underwriting really helped me to fine-tune and polish my strengths, including expertise in conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans.
At V.I.P., I truly believe that I am completely in sync with the company’s superior customer service philosophy. I am very easy going and am a great communicator. I work well with fellow colleagues and am amazed at the teamwork I witness every day. I know what it is like to be on both sides of the lending transaction so I strive to make that positive difference in every single loan!
In my off time, I really enjoy spending time with my family. You can find us watching my favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts, each Sunday afternoon, cheering my daughter on at one of her cheer competitions, or just hanging out with close friends. I am also an avid golfer, bowler, and I do love to watch NASCAR.
Kenzie and I have more than 25 years combined experience in this market and feel very fortunate to have built a solid reputation surrounded by wonderful people, both here in the Valley and in the Pacific Northwest. We have always chosen partners that have similar ideals and ethics, growing together with unrivaled aptitude and excitement, and being a part of V.I.P. is no different.
V.I.P. is both a phenomenal place to work and perfectly suited for us and our clients’ needs. We share a similar philosophy on what our clients experience should look like. Sure, there will always be the product + mortgage approval + option for our clients, but with V.I.P., we are able to bring to the table so much more than that, including the widest array of products available in the industry and a unique solution for each customer. For those clients that have room for improvement – we will suggest and work through short/interim/long term strategy to improve clients’ particulars and improve their borrowing ability and/or terms.
Outside of work, AZ Wildlife Rescue & Support, MS WALK NW, Breast Cancer Survivors/Support, as well as our babies – Maxwell and Madison (Chocolate & Blonde Labrador Retrievers) get all of our attention & time!

A graduate of Arizona State University, I’ve been working in the mortgage business since 2003. Starting out as an assistant processor, I learned the mortgage business from the ground up to my present position at VIP in the Closing Department. Here my major responsibilities are to get the closed loan delivered to the individual investors and to help on the back end with FHA and USDA insurance.
I’m married with 2 grown sons; I enjoy all kinds of sports, the outdoors taking advantage of hiking and biking in the great weather of Arizona with the extensive Phoenix Mountain Parks.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2009 with a degree in finance, I took some time off to start my family. However, by December, I had joined V.I.P. as an account administrator and love it. The customer service we provide in accounting and HR is tailored towards taking care of our employees – our V.I.P. family. The idea is the less time our employees spend worrying about their jobs, translates to more time dedicated to taking care of our clients. By always providing prompt and meticulous service to our employees, they may commit more of their time and efforts to the customer. It’s truly a family, which is what I enjoy most.
Outside of work, I cherish my time spent with my husband and two kids – Nolan and Kynsley, who definitely keep me on my toes. We like to travel and see extended family as much as possible.

I started working in the mortgage industry in May-1998 as a receptionist for a corporate office called National Pacific Mortgage in Anaheim, CA. In 2004 I moved to Mesa, AZ. with my son and husband. I was very fortunate to be able to transfer to a branch in Phoenix as a mortgage loan processor. The company later sold to GMAC mortgage and then again to Homecoming Financial. The company closed Dec. 2006. I worked for multiple mortgage companies after that including VIP Mortgage.
With all of my experience and customer service experience I promote a positive attitude in the work place and try to encourage those around me to make the job less stressful.
Blessed with a loving husband and two beautiful kids Devin 11 and Bella 5 I drive an hour to and from work. I make this sacrifice because I believe in what V.I.P. promotes as a company and find the processing system to be the best I’ve worked in. Having only been here for 8 months I look forward to many years to come as part of the VIP family.
I was born and raised in the Southwest, growing up in Texas and New Mexico. I attended Arizona State University and earned a degree in Finance at the WP Carey School of Business. After graduating from ASU, I started my financial services career as a mortgage banker with the privately-held firm, Waterfield Financial.
During that time, I was selected to attend the acclaimed mortgage academy, XINNIX, where I graduated in the top of my class. I was part of a high-caliber team in the Scottsdale branch that became the # 1 Office for Waterfield Financial nationwide, and I earned a place in the top-producers “Waterfield Club”. The company was then acquired by the multi-billion dollar, publicly-traded firm, American Home Mortgage in January of 2006.
While at American Home Mortgage, I expanded my business by working on large builder accounts, managing entire subdivisions. I achieved President’s Club status and was one of the top 75 producers out of 3,000 mortgage bankers companywide. After American Home Mortgage collapsed in the summer of 2007, I joined the small start-up, V.I.P. Mortgage, to assist in the growth and branding of the company.
The experience at V.I.P. Mortgage has been exciting over the past three years, as the company grew from a single office to multiple branches in several states. The V.I.P. Team operates as a close-knit family, with shared goals and objectives to deliver fast, efficient service.
The strong correspondent banking relationships at V.I.P. Mortgage have enabled the company to provide superior pricing with aggressive, below-market interest rates. This coupled with Five-Star service is what separates the V.I.P. Team from its competitors.
I strive to provide customer service unmatched in the mortgage industry. I have grown my business by genuinely caring for my clients, exceeding their expectations, and thoroughly educating and advising them on their mortgage-financing options. My ultimate goal is to be my clients’ mortgage banker for life.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my wife, family and friends and of course my Silver Labrador, Tex.

My strong values and ethics are rooted deep inside of me, coming from a small town in Colorado and being the youngest of 10 siblings growing up. After graduating from Colorado State University with a business and restaurant management degree, I found myself in Arizona doing mortgages. For 11 years now, I’ve watched this challenging business evolve and still find joy in getting a client into a home. The smiles, excitement – it never gets old to me.
I value the team approach and family approach that V. I. P. offers. Every day, we strive to make the entire loan process enjoyable for our customers and seamless from start to finish.
My other passion, of course, is my two children. I spend a lot of time with them, engaging in their activities, coaching. It’s amazing to me to see what kids nowadays have to keep with to stay ahead of the curve. At V. I. P., we stay three steps ahead of the curve. You can count on that.

I am a Phoenix native and have been in the mortgage industry for 15 years. I began answering phones for a small mortgage company when I was 17 years old. At that time, I was also trained to process home loans, which I am so thankful for that opportunity at such a young age, because I feel the mortgage industry is truly where I belong!
I believe that building strong relationships with those you work is a true blessing. That is why I feel so fortunate to work at V.I.P. I enjoy the fact that each employee puts forth extraordinary efforts to create the flow that makes processing and underwriting homes loans a success here. The fact that everyone is eager to help when you need a hand makes me proud to be a part of such a great company. The experience and talent of those working at V.I.P. is admirable and I am proud to be a part of this family.
One of the things that make V.I.P. so successful is communication. Having strong communication in every phase of the mortgage process helps makes our clients feel at ease. At the end of the day, my goal is to make the experience as seamless and enjoyable as I can for clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two small children. We stay active in
church activities, love going to movies, cooking together and spending as much time as we can with family and friends.
I have over 25 years of diverse business experience coupled with extensive mortgage, management and financial knowledge. Drawing from the best of my experience, I apply a very strategic approach to each loan transaction in order to find the best possible solution for solving or satisfying every client's desired needs. The most critical goal that I strive for with all borrowers and prospects in today's challenging market is a risk-free environment. Those who choose to work with me and my team can expect straight, accurate and reliable information to make sound decisions.
I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management / Organizational Behavior from the University of Washington in 1992 and my Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University, Main Campus in 2000. I have the privilege of using my vast amount of education as well as business experience to structure every transaction with a true sense of detail and professionalism. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, so my family and I truly enjoy our summer getaways to San Diego. I also enjoy golfing, exercising and watching great movies.
My team and I are passionate about our contributions to the community and feel inspired when we are able to assist others in need. We take great pleasure in the success of our clients achieving what I believe is the foundation of the American Dream - affordable home ownership.

In 2002, I entered the mortgage industry as an assistant for a small boutique lender. From those humble beginnings, I worked my way up to managing my own branch, which helped me learn every aspect of the mortgage transaction process. It also helped me gain perspective on establishing long-term relationships and partnerships, so that today, I am proud to say, 99 percent of my business is referral based.
I’m honored that both my clients and realtor peers have enough faith and trust in me to refer others to me to help them with one of life’s most rewarding and biggest purchases – buying a home. I believe wholeheartedly that earning one’s trust is paramount to providing excellent customer service; a philosophy I undoubtedly share with my V.I.P. colleagues. By caring about our customers’ goals, providing knowledgeable answers to their concerns, and keeping them informed and educated along the way, we ensure a smooth, successful transaction each and every time.
I met my lovely wife when she walked into my branch to get a loan for her first home. Her realtor, at the time, said she always thought we would make a great couple, and today, we have a one year old and another on the way. In addition to spending quality time as a family, my wife and I are directors of the Tucson Chapter of HOPE Worldwide, a faith-based charity helping underprivileged people around the world. We have worked with the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity, as well as other community projects.

I have been in the mortgage business for almost 20 years as Processor, Closer and Originator. I have seen many changes and have worked with many challenging aspects of the Business in different positions. I believe in Teamwork and strive for that concept here at VIP. The Owners as managers have implemented a very powerful concept in believing in Teamwork and creating Power Teams. As a growing company they put our customers first and strive to make VIP the best they can.
I am married and have 3 children and two dogs. When not working, I spend most of my time outdoors at the lake with my family, or doing the Mom thing with my youngest daughter.
I moved to Arizona with my parents more than 20 years ago from the Midwest. Upon graduating from ASU with a degree in Communications, my father asked me, “So what did you learn in four years?” My reply: “It’s not what you know; it’s who you know and, what they think of you.”
I’ve lived by this motto, knowing that knowledge is one thing, but making lasting, positive connections with people is really what it takes to make it in life. It’s easy for me to love my job when I’m helping others with something as rewarding and self-gratifying as buying a home. I hold true to my core values and moral integrity and have found success living by the mantra – People and Principles before Profit.
V.I.P. shares this philosophy in putting people first. It’s about caring and building relationships. The rest falls into place.
When I’m not working, I enjoy skiing, traveling, and volunteering for the AZ Pug Rescue. I have two very dear friends/pugs named Mac and Louie.

I was born and raised in Phoenix where I met my wife Adrienne and started a family. We have two daughters ages 17 and 13. My time focuses around my career and family and I enjoy volunteering in my girls sporting activities as well as participating in Booster Clubs and Organizations which support their interests.
I attended Grand Canyon University where I received my B.S. in Accounting. Shortly after graduating from Grand Canyon, I was hired by the Dial Corporation which was headquartered in Phoenix at that time. I worked in the Financial Reporting Department and after 4 years I was ready to explore other industries. I was looking for an opportunity to work with people while using the skills I had acquired in my degree and work experience. The Mortgage Industry was interesting to me, so in 1996 I changed careers and couldn’t be happier with the decision I made.
I believe that education about the financial process and responsible advice as it relates to my clients current and future financial needs are very important pieces of the mortgage process. If I can provide education and combine it with excellent customer service, I believe each client will walk away confident in their decision and happy with their experience.
When searching for a company to work for I chose VIP Mortgage because I believe as a company they can deliver the level of service I promise to provide for my clients. With over 14 years experience in the mortgage industry, I have worked with many people and experience tells me that the staff and management working together at VIP create a group of the best and brightest individuals our industry has to offer.

I have been in the mortgage industry since 2002, having spent the first few years working as a preferred-lender for a large, national home builder. As the housing market turned sour, I transitioned away from the builder side to focus on our local market – building relationships with real estate agents – and eventually becoming the in-house lender for one particular real estate agency.
My wife, Stephanie, got into the business in 2005 as a loan closer, also working on the purchasing side. She later transitioned into processing, and today, she is originating loans. Having worked in so many different areas of the business, she has an incredible perspective and immense knowledge that is necessary in guiding clients through the entire loan process.
Together, we have streamlined our pipeline under V.I.P. and built a solid foundation of loyal clients, as well as newcomers looking to purchase a home. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of companies. V.I.P. is like a family, and with communication being our No. 1 focus, it’s imperative we strive to make sure our customers understand every aspect of the process to create a smooth experience for them – one they’ll want to remember. These are all values we share with V.I.P.
When not at work, we enjoy spending time at home with our kids and our dogs.
I began my career in the mortgage industry 14 years ago as a closer for HomeGold Mortgage in Indianapolis, IN. I transferred to Arizona with HomeGold in 1997 and have lived here ever since. I started the processing side of the business in 1998 with North American Mortgage and eventually began pre-underwriting for the B/C division. I left North American in 2000 with the branch manager to start up his own brokerage, Lifestyle Lending Group. I managed operations for LLG as well as processed. I am currently processing at VIP Mortgage and still enjoy the excitement the industry brings on a daily basis.
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a 7 year old daughter and I am her Brownie Troop Leader at her school. We enjoy the outdoors and cheering our daughter on at soccer games.
My customer service philosophy is to always be kind to customers and co-workers, regardless.
I enjoy working at VIP Mortgage with all of my kind-hearted co-workers. It is truly a team effort here at VIP.
I graduated from Arizona State University in 1992 with a degree in Finance and have been working in the mortgage industry since 1993. I have been fortunate enough to build a 100% repeat and referral-based mortgage practice over the past two decades. My clients and referral partners know that when they work with me, they are partnering with someone who has the integrity, knowledge, experience and attention to detail which will help them reach their financial goals. I am passionate about organization, efficiency, continual learning and improvement, and am always working towards taking the value I can provide to the next level.
As your V.I.P. Mortgage Consultant, my goal is to provide you with world-class service to help navigate through this challenging market. Every day, I strive to live by the Golden Rule of treating everyone as I would want to be treated. It’s refreshing to work with a team who shares your same core values and genuinely cares for and respects one another. The philosophy of teamwork is apparent every day and I feel honored to be a part of the V.I.P. team.
When I’m not working, I cherish spending time with family and friends, including my wife and two boys (6 and 4 years old). I absolutely love being a Dad and I stay incredibly busy by coaching or helping to coach their soccer, T-ball, and basketball teams, along with playing with them as much as possible.

I have been in the Real Estate business for approximately 32 years. My career began at Bank of America from 1978 to 1995. At Bank of America, I was a Branch Manager and my duties included Real Estate Loans, SBA Loans, Auto Loans, Personal and Business Loans, Commercial Loans, etc. I managed branches in Southern California and in Arizona. I have been a mortgage loan officer since 2002 and closed over 1500 transactions including residential purchases and refinances, commercial loans, SBA loans, commercial and residential land loans, construction loans, etc. I also have 7 years experience in the title and escrow business from 1995 to 2002 as a County Sales Manager and a County Manager.
I am married with 4 children. Matt Kaiser is my eldest son and he is also my partner in the mortgage business. I have been involved with the Centurions in Tucson for 18 years. I also Coach my youngest sons’ Little League Team and do volunteer work for the Thornydale LL.
The Kaiser Team answers our phone 24/7. We return all phone calls on a daily basis. Our pledge to our customers, realtors, investors, builders, etc. is that we will qualify a client and send LSR’s to the appropriate parties, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc. During tough markets like this, our experience really is important. We stay in constant communication over the phone, text, or email, depending on what the customer and/or realtor is comfortable with.
At VIP we are Mortgage Bankers which allow us to give our clients service that they will not receive with any other lender, bank, credit union, etc. We have access to many major lenders such as Wells Fargo, Chase, GMAC, US Bank, Flagstar Bank, etc. Our rates are extremely competitive and there is not a competitor that can close a loan quicker or more efficiently then VIP Mortgage.
I have been with V.I.P Mortgage since November of 2009 as a Sales Coordinator. It is my responsibility and goal is to keep you informed while providing a smooth and efficient loan experience.
I started out in the Lending business in 2002 as a Wholesale Mortgage Coordinator. Since then I have had the opportunity to work in both the operational and sales side of the Lending business. It has helped me gain a great appreciation for each team member involved in the loan process.
On those days that I am away from the office you will usually find me outdoors. Whether it is in the White Mountains or here in the Valley, I drag my family, friends and dog outdoors for an adventure.

My approach to customer service is simple: Under promise, over deliver. At VIP, we make it a priority to do just that. The family ideology here at VIP is unique in the industry and we make it our priority to put people first. It’s the people overall that make VIP such a special place to work.

I started my career in the lending industry over twenty-five years ago as a receptionist. I have over those years grown within the industry, working several different positions, which has made me well versed within the lending industry. In my current position as a mortgage funder, it is my responsibility to ensure that the borrower and lender have met all loan requirements.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family taking small road trips, reading or scrapbooking our family’s adventures.
My customer service beliefs are to treat everyone, as I would like to be treated. I will always strive to exceed your expectations for every transaction.
The dedicated individuals that make up VIP Mortgage are the best in the business and I am happy to be a part of the team here at VIP.
I’m a native of Arizona and attended Arizona State University where I earned my bachelor’s degree. After nearly two decades in this business, my customer philosophy still remains simple: treat others how you wish to be treated with a super servant attitude. My V.I.P. family shares this philosophy and it’s a joy to work with these people every day. The family culture and drive for excellence is unsurpassed in this industry. It’s also one of the most innovative and automated companies I’ve ever seen.
I am married to a beautiful lady and wonderful caterer. We have four beautiful children, who we enjoy watching play soccer and basketball. I, myself, love to play sports, run and watch sports and most of all spend quality time with my family.

I have a bachelor’s degree in global business with a specialization in finance from Arizona State University and a certificate in paralegal studies from Phoenix College. I got into the mortgage industry nine years ago as a loan officer. I worked with several different brokers and then, five years ago, I moved over to the operations side of the business to manage processing and compliance for a new broker that was just starting his company. I started with VIP in September, 2010.
I enjoy working at VIP because of the strong team atmosphere that exists here. Loans go so much smoother and get done so much quicker when there is a motivated group of people working together to achieve a common goal. The way the departments are structured here at VIP, with people positioned to utilize their strengths, works very well and facilitates a smooth loan process. I enjoy working here and am proud to call myself part of the VIP Team.
After moving to Arizona from Colorado, I began my career at Waterfield Financial more than 15 years ago. Today, I take tremendous pride in working with V.I.P., which reflects the true essence of a team experience. Their dedication and professionalism are fantastic, but what truly makes it a special place to work is the camaraderie amongst the employees. We work as family helping each other to succeed.
I’ve learned through the years that communication is imperative in this business. Keeping everyone informed limits the level of stress involved in each transaction, alleviates uncertainty and makes the process much smoother.
Living in Arizona is great because there are so many outdoor activities we can appreciate. Boating, golfing, basketball, and barbecuing, are just some of the activities I enjoy along with my family. I am also a board member on my son’s little league.

I moved to Arizona from Maine in 2005 and spent a few years as a Loan Officer and Loan Processor in the Phoenix metro area. After coming over to V.I.P. as one of the founding employees, I had the opportunity to move into Technical Support for the company. This was a great transition as I earned my degree in Computer Technology and hold certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft.
Without the customer, there would be no V.I.P. Mortgage, and taking care of them is the most important thing any of us could do.
I enjoy the great chemistry and teamwork that exists here. At a lot of work places, you can tend to feel like a caged bird, but at V.I.P. we are free to spread our wings and be creative and innovative to make it a better place to work and create a better experience for the customer.

I am currently a loan processor in Tucson Arizona working with Jim and Matt Kaiser as well as Dave Dominguez. I have been with VIP Mortgage since we first started in 2009 when Sundt Mortgage and VIP Mortgage merged. I have been in the mortgage/real estate industry for 13 years and started out as a loan processor in Wisconsin.
I just bought my first home with my boyfriend last year. He is going to school to be a Nurse and will graduate in December of 2011, other than the two of us we have two little dogs named Ali and Lucy they keep us pretty busy since they are the princesses of the house.
Customer service to me is how I would like to be treated when buying a home or any product. I know that I like to have a quick response time to my questions. You want to feel like you are calling someone that is part your family who is happy to hear from you and not bothered because you might have many questions.
VIP Mortgage is very family oriented and has grown so much since I have started. You are with your co-workers more than your family some weeks so it is nice to feel like you are part of the VIP family. I am happy to be part of this family!!!

I joined V.I.P. in 2009 as controller, where I oversee the accounting and human resources departments. With nearly 20 years in this business, I have built my success in serving the internal customers at companies. I believe that efficient care of the employees affords them the opportunity to perform to the best of their abilities. My goal is to quickly and accurately help our employees, so that they can get back to what they do best - helping their customers.
This philosophy particularly holds true at V.I.P. where team building is a huge part of our customer service approach. We recognize that a team-oriented environment optimizes the overall success of our organization. While each employee serves a specific function, those functions serve our bigger picture – to be a leader in the mortgage industry with a commitment to excellence. We build a team and then the team builds the business.
I am a HUGE soccer fan! I love to watch European soccer and am a proud supporter of both the Fulham FC & Everton FC in the English Premier League. I also volunteer as a youth soccer coach, and enjoy officiating youth soccer, as well as, playing year-round in adult leagues.
Having worked in the sales industry for 25 years, I partnered with my wife in the mortgage industry nearly 10 years ago and never looked back. My customer service philosophy has always been to provide my clients ongoing communication and to make sure they understand all aspects of the loan product they have chosen, making certain it truly fits their needs. It is essential that there is no breakdown in communication, ensuring the customer is fully engaged and all their questions are answered in a timely manner.
My colleagues at V.I.P. share this same work ethic and I feel fortunate to work with a group of such highly experienced, dedicated individuals. They have put together the best in-house team of processors, underwriters, closers and funders in the business. The entire team is charged with the task of ensuring my clients have the greatest experience every step of the way.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and was drawn to VIP shortly thereafter. At VIP, I am surrounded by experts teaching me everything there is to know in the industry from originating loans and quality control through closing documents. I feel more than mentored, I feel valued.
I enjoy helping others and always strive to do my best. Working for VIP is amazing because it is filled with people with similar goals and mentalities – we are all here to help each other out, learn and grow, and at the end of the day find success. It’s like a family all working together to exceed standards.
I’m an avid reader and I love to travel, eat, hike and exercise. I’ve worked with the American Cancer Society and ran various health programs during my time in college.
I’ve always had a really strong work ethic. Growing up in Iowa, I worked as a teenager in the fields for my grandfather, as well as putting up hay in the afternoons for other area farmers. I moved to Arizona in 1983 after receiving my degree from University of Northern Iowa. In 1986, I purchased my first home and was immediately hooked on the details of the mortgage banking process. The more I learned and discovered, the more I made it my mission to help others navigate through the loan process to find the best options and loan products available. I really enjoy the excitement of a family buying their first home. Soon, I had agents calling me and past clients referring friends and family to me. My career blossomed.
Since then, I have managed a national mortgage branch and am now managing my own origination team with V.I.P. For this company to thrive and grow in one of the worst real estate and mortgage markets ever is a testament to its leadership and team approach. We are committed to making fair and sound decisions that treat everyone with the respect that each customer deserves and grow our partner’s business. We believe, when you take care of the customer, the business will take care of V.I.P.
I live in Tempe with my wife and two children. I am active in my kids’ school, volunteering my time in classrooms and after school activities. I have coached my kid’s football, soccer, and basketball. I also love gardening and grow my own vegetable for family and neighbors.

I’ve been in the mortgage business going on 10 years now. I started when I was just 16 at Fairway Independent Mortgage under Jay Barbour, and joined him when he started V.I.P. in 2007. When I began, I was the receptionist and post closer. As my experience grew, I started drawing docs, processing and am now funding.
I’ve always believed in what the company’s leaders represent – strong integrity, honesty, and respect. They truly care about the customer and how each and every loan affects the customer. I strive to emulate this same strong character and be the best I can be to each and every person I am in contact with, whether a customer, colleague or friend. I love the people I work with and don’t know what I’d do without them.
I am an Arizona native, and currently reside in Gilbert with my fiancée and our 1 ½ year old daughter McKenna. We love to spend time at the lake, riding jet skis and four-wheeling, hiking, family get-togethers and traveling. I also have been in dance since childhood and, in my spare time, enjoy dancing in my friend’s dance company.
I am eager to work for you in obtaining the best lending experience in the market!
I started out my journey in the real estate and mortgage industry in 1985 when I gained my first employment in the industry as an on-site property manager for a small, 25 unit apartment community. Over the next decade, that experience grew through the stages of property management to the management level position of District Manager overseeing in excess of 1500 units, across 5 states.
I earned my Arizona Real Estate Salesperson license in 1996 and Arizona Real Estate Broker’s license in 2003 (both currently inactive status). My broad spectrum knowledge of the real estate industry and deep interest in the financial side of the business naturally led me to expand in 2002 and partner in the opening of Ideal Mortgage Specialists in early 2002. I obtained an Arizona Mortgage Broker license in 2007.
I have spent the past nine years building loyal referral based relationships with clients and realtors by making it my goal to provide them with the best loan terms and service in the industry. Since making the decision in late 2009 to join forces with VIP Mortgage as an originator for the Southeast Valley branch and expand into the Mortgage Banking realm, my ability to serve that goal has intensified tenfold. The rates and service that VIP Mortgage supports lead the industry. That fact, coupled with my attention to every detail, makes for an extraordinary partnership.
Every client and realtor I have the opportunity to work with is guaranteed a superior level of communication and service. Courtesy and respect aren’t extras but the right of every person I interact with.

I’ve been in the loan business since 1994 and live by the motto: I’ll look after your interests – today, tomorrow, for life!
I believe that my client relationship don’t end when the loan closes. To give the best service and create effective and meaningful communication, I diligently stay in touch with my clients, making sure important dates and interest rate changes that could benefit my clients are not overlooked. Sharing information during the loan process is the oil that keeps the process moving forward, and by extending regular status updates to both borrowers and agents, I can achieve a comfort level that creates the foundation for building lifelong relationships.
Aside from finding great pleasure in creating satisfied clients, I cherish every minute I am able to spend with my wife and three kids. And when I have time, I enjoy playing golf, golf and more golf.
I am an ASU alumnus and have been in the lending industry since 2004. In that time, I have taken different roles such as a mortgage consultant, account manager, junior underwriter and loan processor. In all these stages of my career, I most enjoy working closely with my internal and external customers with one goal in mind – to successfully close a loan transaction with the highest quality and professionalism, in a timely manner. I strive for efficiency, which I believe is the most valuable asset in this industry.
My V.I.P. family shares this philosophy. Providing legendary customer service and emphasizing teamwork in everything we do is the cornerstone of this company. This is what I love most about being a part of V.I.P. Everyone is dedicated to growing our family and sharing in the Company’s success.
Along with my twin brother, I was born and raised in Arizona. My spare time is spent with family and friends, and I enjoy bike rides through downtown Phoenix, poolside fun and watching football. My heart is with the AZ Cardinals and I believe that football should be a year-round sport.

I have worked in the mortgage industry for nearly two decades, and having weathered the financial and mortgage collapse of 2008, I feel I have come full circle.
After graduating from the University of San Diego with a degree in Communications, I moved my family and four kids to Phoenix where I spent five years learning the business and developing relationships necessary for success. In 1998, I helped open one of Arizona’s most prominent mortgage brokers Olympic Mortgage. With two fundamental goals, to treat our employees like family and always strive to exceed our customer’s expectations, we played ball.
Ten years later, we went looking for a partner in the industry that mirrored our commitment to excellence and found VIP. The company’s plan is simple: Grow our business by caring for our people and exceeding our client’s expectations. This dedication has never wavered.
I am very involved in youth sports having coached a variety of teams in soccer, softball, football and basketball. I also love golfing and skiing.

I am a native Southern Californian, born in Newport Beach and raised in San Juan Capistrano. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, where my mother and father owned several businesses and taught me that work ethic and commitment, relationships and reputation, integrity and trust are the driving forces behind every successful business. My parents also taught me that in every crisis there is opportunity.
I received my first taste of the significance of customer service when I worked at the Ritz Carlton for seven years as a food and beverage manager. I learned to really listen to the customer’s needs, always put them first and hopefully manage to exceed their expectations. When I switched to the mortgage industry in 2001, I knew that my talent for working with people along with my entrepreneurial instincts would be a great combination for growing my own business.
Partnership with V.I.P. was such an easy decision for me and my team. The company’s core values lie so heavily on customer service, entrepreneurial spirit and teamwork – it was like a custom fit. Building long-lasting relationships based on integrity, commitment and follow-through – those are the keys to success.
My wife Laureen and I have two young daughters and love that we are raising them not far from where we both grew up. Having grown up just minutes from world-class surfing beaches and a couple of hours from ski/snowboard Mountains, I know I wouldn’t trade this for the world. The OC is like living in an endless summer where surfing, skateboarding; golf and all outdoor activities are part of the regular lifestyle.

Customer Service Philosophy: With a positive attitude, we will always keep in mind that we are in business to serve others. To provide that service grudgingly or reluctantly defeats our purpose. Courtesy and respect are not extras, but are the right of each person we interact with. They are part of our product.
VIP Mortgage is a wonderful company to work for. They provide support, and are extremely family oriented. We have a wide variety of knowledge and our organization structure helps to maintain our quality of service.
I began my career in the mortgage industry just over five years ago as a loan processor. Within the first year, I trained and transitioned into a mortgage closer, drawing up loan documents, funding the loans and corresponding with our investors that purchased our loans. Within the past year, I transitioned once more to the loan originating side of things and joined VIP Mortgage. My experience with previous positions has enabled me to really understand all facets of a mortgage loan from the prequalification and origination of the loan through the very end when it is sold to an investor. Because of this I am very diligent in my work, and able to successfully navigate a loan from start to finish, as well as explain the entire process to my clients.
I enjoy spending time with my family and our three dogs. We are active in our church and I dedicate some of my spare time each week to volunteering with our youth ministry.
My customer service philosophy comes down to one main focus point: communication. I believe in keeping a borrower apprised of their loan status and answering any questions as quickly and efficiently as possible. I put myself in the borrower's shoes and guide them through each step of their loan.
I take pride in being a part of the VIP team and have confidence with each person that touches a loan. VIP is made up of the best of the best in this industry, and each person contributes to our success as a company whether it be from their experience, knowledge or helpful attitudes.

I graduated from Winona State University in December 2009, with a Business Administration degree and an Accounting minor. When I graduated, I was immediately hired by AFLAC. I worked there for a few months before deciding that cold-calling was not my thing. After relocating to Madison, Wisconsin, I came to work for VIP Mortgage as the Accounts Payable Administrator. I have been here since November 2010, and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and opportunity to be a part of the VIP team.
There are a lot of things that interest me. I have played sports my entire life, and I like to remain active by working-out and doing Wisconsin-type recreation. Biking, fishing, boating and skiing are all part of my life. I love my family, my friends, video games, technology, and I am arguably the most knowledgeable and biggest Packer fan…ever!
As part of the Accounting and Human Resources Team, I abide by our customer service philosophy which is geared toward our employees. We view all VIP employees as our customers and feel that the less time employees have to worry about our end, the more time they have to devote to their job. We do our best to quickly and competently help our customers, so that they can focus their time and energy on what they do best, helping theirs!
I enjoy working for VIP because, even though I mainly interact with my co-workers via phone or email, they make my day enjoyable. Although I may be ‘just a name’ to some, I hope that my quirky emails shed an optimistic light on humanity. I just want to be happy!

I’ve been in the mortgage business for 4 years and LOVE it. My goal is to become an Underwriter so I need to start from bottom up which I don’t mind. My professional background before entering mortgage business was customer service which I did for 24 years.
I come from a very large family I am the 2nd oldest of 7 siblings, I have a total of 11 nieces/nephews and I have 8 great nieces and nephews this is just my immediate family. My mother comes from a family of 13 siblings and my father has 5. As you can tell my family did not watch too much Television in Hawaii!!! I am in the process of adopting my niece’s daughter Amani. She is so adorable, cute, and beautiful I can’t wait till she gets a little older.
Customer service philosophy – We will provide efficient, friendly service, creating a comfortable, welcoming environment. We will treat every customer the way you would like to be treated it doesn’t matter if it’s internal or external customers.
What I like about working at V.I.P. Mortgage – I like the fact that Jay (one of the owners) goes around and gives everyone knuckles that is so cool. I like that we have a work family I came from the corporation world and this is the first time I’m working for a smaller company and Love it.
Here at V.I.P Mortgage, Southeast Valley Branch, the Reidhead Team of Dallas and Cara Reidhead have a basic set of goals and guidelines that we hold as standard and implied in every transaction we do, whether it be for long term clients or our first time customers. These are simply to deliver the best service available and offer terms that are usually unmatched by industry standards. We pride ourselves on making the process easy & convenient for all parties involved and have a track record of excellence in customer satisfaction.
We began our career in the mortgage industry in 2002 when we went to work for a family owned and operated broker shop named Ideal Mortgage Specialists. We developed the “Team” aspect of combining forces to do the best job possible for our clients. We and the people of Ideal Mortgage’s idea of honest and upfront dealings began to earn a reputation among several of the top realtors in the valley and have developed long lasting, loyal bonds with those realtors. We also have a strong interest in watching “Wall Street” and tracking the movement in the markets to give our clients a cutting edge in staying ahead of the changes in mortgage rates and overall fluctuations in the housing sector as a whole.
We were approached by V.I.P. Mortgage Inc in late 2009. After carefully deliberating, the Ideal Mortgage team decided that given the changes in the housing market it was time to make their move. We, along with a few others from Ideal mortgage team, decided to join forces and open the V.I.P. Mortgage Inc.’s Southeast Valley Branch - where our goal is STILL to provide prompt service with honesty and integrity!
“We love what we do and thank God for the blessings that he provides us with everyday! We have two amazing boys, 2 and 4, that help to keep us busy and provide an outlet when we need a break. We spend weekends watching them play sports and love to spend time with our family. We are active in our Church meetings and have callings that we enjoy. I (Dallas) love to rope and play golf and softball, and I (Cara) love to be with them, I don’t care what we are doing!”

I’m a proud graduate of Virginia Tech and have lived in Arizona for 20 years. My mortgage career spans those two decades with a wide array of experience from loan origination to business owner. But at the end of the day, my favorite part of the job is working with people to help them attain the American dream – being a homeowner.
My motto is treat each of my clients like a close friend. I take pride in having a personal interest in each of my clients, going above and beyond one’s expectations. The mortgage process is more complex than ever, so it is my job to make it seem effortless for my clients.
My wife and I are very involved in our 5-year-old daughter’s school and enjoy being an active part of her education and the community. I also enjoy playing golf and tennis.
Having a developer as a father put me on the fast track to real estate and finance. I have worked in the financial industry for over 20 years and began my lending career in excess of 11 years ago.
I joined V.I.P. in April 2010 as a Senior Mortgage Banker and Broker. I feel blessed to work with this incredible team, which is more like family to me, all committed to the same philosophy of excellence and superior customer service.
I have extensive experience in all aspects of FHA, VA, USDA, conforming and non-conforming originations. My constant awareness of ever changing regulatory guidelines is the key to my proven expertise in leveraging core strengths to structure your financing options.
As your Mortgage Banker I personally work directly with all parties involved in the transaction to ensure a smooth process and a timely close of escrow. My goal is to earn your trust and exceed your expectations in every way. As my trusted client, you are never an interruption to my day, but rather the reason I work. I have built my reputation by truly caring for each and every client – creating a wow-factor so that I am your go-to person for questions, advice, and solutions in any mortgage need.
Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors every chance I get. Whether I am hiking, playing tennis, or just going for a jog, I love staying active. For excitement, you will find me taking in a local comedy show or planning my next inspiring road trip.
I have 35 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, successfully managing one of the largest and most productive mortgage processing centers for Waterfield Financial Corp in Denver, Colorado and Phoenix, Arizona. My team closed more than 800 loans per month, with the lowest cost per loan in the company. After 20 years at Waterfield, I played an instrumental role in getting V.I.P. up and running as a member of the company's executive team.
My current position is Chief Compliance Officer, which includes juggling a multitude of responsibilities such as establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that compliance throughout the organization is both effective and efficient. What I’ve enjoyed most about joining V.I.P. is the teamwork attitude that management desires and supports. Success to them is defined by seeing others around them succeed. Something I both admire and strive toward.
I’ve been married for 36 years and enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy traveling, reading and going to Hot Rod shows with my husband and his 1947 Chevy Pickup.

I have been in the mortgage industry for nearly 30 years, beginning as a new file set-up clerk at a family-owned mortgage bank in Illinois. During those nine years, I worked in all aspects of the loan process, eventually working as processing manager and direct endorsement underwriter. In 1992, I moved to Arizona and continued advancing in my career. I know this business inside and out, having worked in so many capacities including management of processing, closing, underwriting, quality control to my current position as executive vice president.
I love working at V.I.P. Teamwork is the name of the game and I am in awe of the support we all have for one another. The company’s vision is inspiring; its commitment, indescribable, and I am so proud of the culture we are building.
Besides work, I enjoy being outside, shopping, and I love the sun! My husband and I have two small dogs named Sunnie and Destiny, and we spoil them rotten.
For more than 10 years I’ve been a top producer working at mortgage banks including Express Line Mortgage, Mortgage Central and Sterling Home Mortgage. I’ve prided myself on being available to my clients 24 hours a day. It’s imperative to keep those lines of communications open and make sure all their questions and concerns are addressed, whenever they arise.
I’ve grown my business through honesty and integrity and the referrals come. In addition, teaming up with my real estate wife nearly seven years ago has added an extra facet to my business, because we are able to offer clients special packages and enjoy a lot of repeat business because of that. In 2011, I joined V.I.P., which has added a whole new element to my work. The team atmosphere and back-end support is unmatched and has enabled me to increase my volume. As the company grows, I am excited about what the future holds.
My wife and I have two incredible boys that keep us very busy. I am also a college sports junkie, especially watching my hometown team and alma mater Mississippi State. Whether it’s football, basketball or baseball – I love ‘em all.

I have been in the mortgage business for more than 10 years and a top producing originator and account executive for both the retail and wholesale sides of the business. As a former owner of a mortgage company, I have learned that developing personal relationships with each and every client generates success.
V.I.P. has that trait and treats all of its employees and customers alike with the utmost respect and attention. We share the common belief that providing the best service possible is personal. By educating and informing all parties in a transaction, we foster successful teamwork to help our clients realize success, whether the goal is to buy a home or lower their interest rate.
Outside of work, I am happily married with two children. I am an affiliate member of the West Maricopa Association of Realtors and the vice-president and founding member of a chapter of the West Valley Executives. I enjoy helping my children with their homework and when I am not running them to and from their sports, you can usually find me helping them improve their softball and baseball skills.
I am an Arizona native and have been originating loans for more than 15 years. I’m proud to be part of V.I.P.’s experienced, dedicated team and share their commitment to excellence and customer service. I enjoy guiding my clients through the options and challenges present in mortgage financing and each time I deliver a home loan approval I am truly glad and proud to be in my profession.
Outside of work I enjoy painting, playing piano, reading and spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I are active in our children’s sports and activities and we enjoy spending time at the beach and in the mountains.

Upon receiving an economics degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1984, I moved to Arizona and spent a short time in consumer finance. Since beginning my mortgage career, I have had the pleasure of working with both new home builders and realtors throughout the valley.
My motto is: you are not an interruption to my day, but rather the reason for my work. I will always strive to exceed your expectations and provide you with the best experience. As your trusted advisor, my goal is to become your go-to person for all of your finance needs including questions, advice and solutions when helping you buy a home.
Working with a family like V.I.P. is both a privilege and a pleasure. You can expect nothing but the best, always listening, always providing honest answers and creating a smooth path to homeownership.
I’m an avid reader and love crafts and photography. My husband and I are almost empty-nesters with a high school senior at home that we try to spend as much time with as possible. We also have two crazy dogs that keep us constantly entertained and look forward to more travel in the upcoming years.

I studied business finance and marketing at Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University after completing four years of service in the U.S Air Force. I received my practical experience as a mortgage originator starting in 1988 at Mellon Bank, Anchor Savings Bank and Waterfield Financial. Diversified needs of my client base prompted me into the mortgage broker world in 1997 where I originated for 13 years at Spectrum Financial and Security Mortgage.
With the recent challenges in the mortgage industry, I made the move to V.I.P. because of the advantages of being employed with a direct lender. This gives me the ability to better serve my clients by providing a more efficient, streamlined mortgage process. Being a direct lender and managing all processing, underwriting, document drawing and the final wiring of funds allows the team at V.I.P. to be in complete control of the client’s loan process. Besides V.I.P. being a cutting-edge lender to work for, the management team truly cares about our clients and continuously strives to improve the image of mortgage lending in the communities we serve.
I have strived to stay current with mortgage trends and guidelines. In 2009, I completed unique training from the Certified Mortgage Planners Institute, in the field of “specialized” mortgage lending and consultation services. My specialties include listening to and understanding the specific needs of each of my clients; utilizing this information; and developing a plan to help my clients realize their homeownership dream. Although I am well versed in conventional and FHA mortgage lending, veterans’ loans are my passion. I currently serve as team lead of Veterans Mortgage Network. Veterans Mortgage Network specifically educates and guides veterans in how to maximize their VA home buying benefits through their website at www.veteransmortgagenetwork.com.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 24-year-old son. I also enjoy traveling throughout the state of AZ and Puerto Penasco, Mexico, as well as hiking, reading, and following current events and politics.

I entered mortgage banking over 26 years ago. The bulk of my years have been spent in the area of processing, building a knowledge base that lead me in the later years into operations management, closing, and post-closing.
The one true concept of mortgage banking I have learned over my time in the industry is that this is a team sport. It is full contact; wear pads and helmets, because you can’t do this alone. Which is why the Team concept here at VIP makes it the successful company it is, and a place I could not be more pleased to be.
I am married, no children, with two dogs. I prefer to spend my free time outside, camping, a week at Lake Powell on a houseboat with friends or even working in the yard.
After earning a bachelor’s in Finance and Marketing from Arizona State University, I began my career as a credit analyst before diving into the mortgage business. My goal is to build lasting relationships with my clients in an effort to serve them for life!
The camaraderie amongst V.I.P. employees is extremely unique and drives our company’s success. We all have each other’s back and strive to help one another achieve success. That filtrates to satisfied clients, which is a crucial part of growing and thriving in today’s market.
I am affiliated with the Better Business Bureau and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, and I also enjoy volunteering at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and supporting youth athletic sports.

I enjoy being with my husband and our 3 year old daughter, Ayanna. She keeps us super busy with her new YMCA sports events and on the go personality. In my spare time I enjoy anything with Ayanna, golfing, hanging around the fire pit on these cold Arizona nights and date nights with my husband.
My customer service philosophy is to exceed the expectations of the customers by superior follow up and a smooth transactin that will keep our clients for a lifetime.

I was born into the mortgage business with my father Jack Teegardin being the V.P. National Sales Manager for Waterfield Financial for 30 years. Upon completing my finance degree from Colorado State University in 1993, I joined Waterfield Financial where I led in managing and producing the most closed units, volume and revenue in Arizona for seven years.
With Waterfield, I earned President Club status and co-managed and grew the Scottsdale office to become the largest and most profitable branch in the company. I was able to keep my team together when American Home Mortgage acquired Waterfield in 2006, continuing to earn top honors including AHM Top Status with $300 million in closed volume in one year.
I’m a passionate leader who thrives in management and identifying top contenders that are both compliant and ethical to add to our VIP family. I take great pride in ensuring our sales force can’t be beat. Product training, QC training and fraud training are basic foundational fundamentals of building a career-minded sales force with me.
Raised in Colorado, I have embraced everything Arizona has to offer for nearly 20 years. My family, which includes my wife and two children, I love the outdoors. We hike, camp, boat, ski, swim, and play on a men’s competitive ice hockey team.

My career in the mortgage business started at the age of 15 working for my parents company Credit Profile Services during the summers. Eventually, I worked my way up to account representative. In 2001, I began originating residential mortgage loans and by 2003, I was a top producer at a mid-sized mortgage broker closing 30 loans per month. I have also worked as a wholesale rep from 2006 to 2007. I now enjoy working in branch support for V.I.P. and assisting with the coordination of all loans, as well as training new loan officers.
I enjoy working at V.I.P. because of the company’s philosophy of quality of life. V.I.P. values working hard, but you have to have a certain quality of life that is enjoyable for you and your family. The team mentality at V.I.P. is unmatched in this industry and I’m proud to call them my work family.
I enjoy spending time with my family. My mother and sister live here in Arizona, and my father and step-mother live in Texas. I am an avid golfer and enjoy hiking and working out regularly.
In my 13 years originating loans, I have been fortunate to work with customers who have become life-long friends. I love my job and feel blessed every day to work in this industry with the incredible team assembled at V.I.P.
My personal promise to clients is to be direct, honest, knowledgeable and timely. I want you to feel confident counting on me. Whether securing financing for a new home, refinancing your home or you’re a realtor looking to refer your client, my goal is to create a smooth, successful transaction, exceeding all your expectations.
Raised in Buffalo, New York, when I’m not working you’ll find me cheering on the Buffalo Bills or Arizona’s local collegiate team, the Wildcats. I also enjoy golfing, music, concerts and vacations to the beach… of course, with my Blackberry always on and ready to answer your call.

I am a third generation native of Colorado. I have worked in the financial industry since 1996. My lending career began as a Mortgage Broker with Sigma Mortgage Corporation. In July 2001, I moved to WR Starkey Mortgage as a Senior Loan Officer, where I built my personal business on a strong foundation of realtors and referrals. As of March 2011, I accepted a position at VIP Mortgage Incorporated as a Branch Manager. This is a company that prides itself on building relationships with respect, integrity and total commitment to excellence. I invite you to experience the VIP difference.
As your home finance contact, myself and my team will work directly with your Realtor, the seller’s Realtor, title agent, and your personal insurance agent to ensure that all documentation is in order for a flawless purchase transaction. I am committed to delivering the best service in the mortgage lending industry. Every mortgage applicant can expect to receive personal and professional guidance to insure a stress free home financing experience. By providing my clients with exceptional service, which I would personally expect, I have developed a customer based environment that is focused on creating clients for a lifetime.
My pride and joy away from work are my son and daughter. We love to water and snow ski, play tennis, play golf and just spend time together.
I am active with my children’s school, and I volunteer for Toys for the Mission and Habitat for Humanity on an annual basis.
At VIP Mortgage I am blessed to work with an incredible team, more like a family, of experienced and dedicated individuals who share the same philosophy of excellence and commitment to exceptional customer service.
I specialize in all aspects of residential lending. Let my extensive product knowledge and experience guide you through the joy of purchasing your dream home.
I was born in Canada, but came to the US at a very young age growing up in Tempe and living most of my adult life in Mesa, Arizona. I began my mortgage career in the mid-1980s as a processor, and over the past 25 years, I have worked on both t he retail and wholesale sides of the business.
During my tenure in the business, I often run into people I have worked with or known in the past, and was delighted to find so many of those people here at V.I.P. The company feels like a big family, committed to quality customer service. I believe if you provide the right tools and the right information to employees, the sky is the limit as to what can be accomplished. Previously in wholesale, I always strived to provide a loan officer with all the correct information to experience a fast and efficient closing. The same philosophy holds true at V.I.P. The customer is always our top priority.
My husband, Lance, and I have 5 children, two grandchildren with one more on the way, and stay busy keeping track of their hectic lives. Additionally, we support several charities in the valley including the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley. I am also a member of AMLA and support the active role we all should take in our industry.
Seeking both life experience and educational assistance, I joined the United States Air Force in 2001. During my military career and while attending school, I worked for a credit union in Alaska helping service men and women with their financial needs, thus beginning my career in mortgage. I moved back to the valley in 2005, and have since been working with predominantly the same group of people who are now V.I.P.
I have successfully grown my business through client referrals. I place a high value on sustaining relationships, even after the job is complete. It is important to me that I earn my clients’ trust and always keep the lines of communication open and clear.
My family is an extremely important part of my life. I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful husband and two amazing kids. In my spare time, I enjoy running, snowboarding and the beaches of Mexico.

I started my career in the mortgage business just this past year in the QC department at VIP. Prior to being recruited to the VIP team I played golf for Paradise Valley Community College and graduated from ASU in Criminal Justice.
In my off time I really enjoy spending time with my friends and family. In my spare time you can find us watching my Cardinals on Sunday afternoon, cheering my cousin at one of her cheer competitions, or hanging out with close friends. Besides hanging with my family I love to play sports especially golf and softball.
Working with VIP Mortgage in QC, I would have to say that I truly believe that I fit directly in with their superior customer service. I am very easy going and am a great communicator with my fellow colleagues. Here at VIP we strive for excellence, and where people are our priority!

fter graduating from Vanguard University of Southern California, I taught English in China and Poland before settling at JP Morgan/Chase Bank for five year as VP of national accounts in Southern Arizona. Joining VIP has been one of the best decisions of my life. We share similar ideas and values when it comes to business and service, and we pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and helping them with one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
In Tucson, my business partner Tom Baeder and I operate under the twin team philosophy, which means our clients can expect to get double the service. We are, hands down, the best system to generate leads for our realtors and are committed to ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership with our customers.
VIP goes above and beyond the average mortgage company with a reputation as having one of the best credit repair and counseling benefits, usually at no cost to our clients. Our education and thorough knowledge of the loan process helps to ensure there are no surprises at the closing table.
I am married to a former professional baseball player who is now a firefighter, and we have two young boys, all of whom keep me very busy. I ran track and played volleyball in college and currently coach a high school girls’ volleyball.
The twin team is actively involved in both the Eagles Wings of Grace and the Children’s Miracle Network. I volunteer with the preschool ministry at my church and teach Sunday school monthly. I also work with the Primavera Foundation, teaching financial education classes.
I spent nearly 10 years in the retail banking industry before switching to mortgages in 1999. The first year, I spent processing and underwriting, which really helped me to understand how to put a loan together.
Before joining VIP, I spent a decade or so working for smaller boutique brokers. I love that VIPs team philosophy mixes well with the lending principles I’ve developed over the past 20 years. I believe that communication with not only the buyer, but all parties involved in the transaction, is key to getting a loan done smoothly. I make it a priority to be involved from the initial application through funding and recording.
Happily married to my lovely wife Carly for 15 years, we enjoy spending time with our two children – Taylor, 12 and Maggie, 10 and helping out at the kids’ school through programs like the Dad’s Club and summer baseball and softball leagues. I also love fishing with my son and cheering on the Diamondbacks.

I was born in Louisiana and moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1983. Until 1991, I stayed at home to raise my two daughters and four step children. Then in 1992, I reentered the workforce and worked for a variety of industries before spending nearly seven years in the lending field.
I joined the VIP team in 2011 and feel very at home here in the company. Everyone is so nice and helpful and share the same philosophy in service as I do. It’s a pleasure to come to work every day and I’m proud to be part of this team.
In my free time, I love to cook and enjoy watching football and baseball.

I joined VIP with a background in residential construction but we share the same philosophy: creating a win-win situation for everyone involved.
Since joining VIP, I feel like I’ve been able to add a new dimension to my career while simultaneously sticking to my values in helping others achieve their goals. VIP has a family mentality that makes everyone feel like Very Important People – employees and clients alike.
I am married with a grown daughter and one grandson, who keeps me very busy in my spare time. I am very involved in our grandson’s school and also church youth activities.

Customer service and helping people has always influenced my career choices. Upon receiving my BA at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, I worked at a non-profit helping the Windsor communities recover from a massive tornado. I then went on to work as a personal banker, primarily focusing on 2nd mortgages. This is what sparked my interest in lending.
Since joining VIP, I’ve whole-heartedly embraced the “team” mentality throughout the company. It’s so apparent that every employee here is valued and is treated like part of the family. For me, customer service is about treating others how you would like to be treated and VIP shares that common value and strives to always do what is best for the client.
My philosophy: Put myself in the client’s shoes. VIP creates an environment where we are truly able to serve our clients using this philosophy.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and two cattle dogs. We live in Denver, CO and this fall, I will start coaching after-school lacrosse for high school students.

I have more than 25 years in the mortgage industry and 14 of those years in underwriting. My goal is to make sure the loans are processed quickly and accurately, and I treat every loan as if it were my own, taking care of customers the way I would want to be treated myself. That is what appealed to me about working for VIP – we share a similar customer service philosophy and always put the customer first. At VIP, you are a person, part of the family, part of the team and not just an employee.
I am an Arizona native and have been married for 29 years – yes! To the same man, who is now retired from the Air force. We have one daughter and three grandsons. I have a special hobby at my house – a makeshift farm with llamas, goats, sheep, a potbelly pig, chickens, ducks, a miniature donkey and a tortes named Ruffus. They are all my babies.
The mortgage business has been a part of my life for a very long time. My mother’s a 40-year veteran in real estate, and I, myself, have been in the business for 13 years. I have experience in all the major areas of the industry from privately held banks, large corporate lending institutions to running my own brokerage for six years.
My customer service philosophy is an oldie but goodie: Treat your customer as you would want to be treated yourself. It’s a common idea here at VIP; a family of hard workers who share the same basic premise that the customer comes first – always. They are the best mortgage operation I have ever worked for. Besides being proactive and efficient, they are loyal and genuinely care about the clients they serve. They walk the walk!!
Personally, I am an avid golfer and surfer. I’ve lived in Southern California my entire life, except for in college when I earned my BA in History with a minor in Political Science from the University of Arizona in Tucson. I feel very blessed and grateful to live in this incredible beach community with my wife and three daughters.

I have been in the mortgage and banking industry for more than 20 years, with the majority of those years in management. While overseeing people, it became very apparent to me what matters most in this business – meeting clients’ expectations, whatever those might be. By asking my clients the right questions from day one, managing those expectations becomes much more efficient and smooth. Day one quality is most essential in order to ensure every loan closes on time.
In VIP, I have found a partner who understands this philosophy. The integrity of the people is top notch. The customer always comes first and it’s our job to perform for them on a daily basis. With home ownership typically being the biggest investment most people make, their dreams are in our hands, and we don’t take that lightly.
In my free time, I coach my 11-year-old son’s football team and spend time with my 16-year-old daughter as well. I also enjoy reading and playing golf.

I began my career as a loan processor in 1994 and in 1998, began originating loans. I love doing what I do and am committed to understanding each individual I serve on a one-on-one basis to ensure the best loan program available.
I believe the key to success is honesty and integrity and with VIP’s support, I am able to uphold these standards and give my clients the highest level of service. With everything done in house, this full-service operation creates better efficiencies and smoother transactions, helping my clients come out on top. Our clients are not just a number. We are committed to building relationships with people – Very Important People.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, plus learning to cook, reading and traveling.

Since moving to Arizona in 2005, I have worked with a variety of financial institutions in the Valley, continuing to learn and grow in this ever-changing business. While understudying with Jim Kaiser – a 30-year vet in the business – the most important thing I’ve learned is to always be available to your clients. 24/7! This is key to successful customer service and making a lasting impression on your client.
That is why VIP has had such a strong influence on my budding career. Here, everyone is family, including the borrower. Everyone is committed to making the clients experience the best – to exceed their expectations. With the best tools and technologies, VIP stands apart from its competitors and I’m proud to be a part of this family.
Today, besides being an avid soccer player, I enjoy coaching another sport – golf – at a local valley high school.

As a seasoned Mortgage Loan Officer for over 9 years, I have practical experience working with many types of loans ... Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA. My philosophy is simple. I offer great customer service, clear communication and accessibility throughout the loan process. I've built my business loan by loan to create a foundation of positive testimonials. To that end, I am proud to have been named one of D Magazine's 2011 Best Mortgage Professionals in the Dallas/Ft. worth area. By striving to be current and well versed in industry trends and guidelines, I ensure that my customers enjoy a smooth, no-surprises journey to the closing table.
V.I.P. Independent Mortgage shares the same philosophy. I'm truly fortunate to be associated with them. They're a customer-first organization with the integrity, the experience and the service all home buyers deserve.
Outside of work, I'm President of my local Rotary club which allows me to be involved with many good works projects in the community. I'm also a foodie. My wife and I enjoy cooking, being part of a dinner group and most of all, spending time with our 11 year old daughter.

Born and raised in Minnesota, I moved to the southwest 22 years ago after marrying my wife. Having run my own business during a portion of that time, I’ve discovered what matters most in business – customer service, commitment and hard work. I believe that integrity is the greatest quality one can possess and that is why I’ve found such a welcoming partner in VIP. We are all committed to one common goal: completing your loan process with a funded loan in an agreed upon time frame.
In addition to processing loans for VIP, I am a real estate investor and residential rental property owner. I have a real passion for this industry and working with others who share this enthusiasm. I truly enjoy helping clients attain their dream of buying a home or investment property. I strive to educate and communicate freely with my clients so they thoroughly understand the process and have a great experience.
Outside of work, I’m actively involved in my church, as well as my community’s K-8 school board. I also enjoy hiking, golfing and off-road touring in my Jeep.
I’ve spent a lifetime in this business – 35 years and counting. And I’ve learned a lot. From agent to owner, I’ve worked in nearly every aspect of the mortgage industry. Whether it’s with your clients or amongst your peers, I’m a firm believer that relationships are the key to any successful partnership.
V.I.P. builds upon this foundation of strong relationships. With solid communication and an open door policy, clients and employees alike know they are being heard and taken care of at V.I.P. Their ability to really listen to what is being said – it sets them apart, makes them unique.
My wife of more than 30 years and I enjoy being involved in the daily aspects of our children’s lives. We have a 30-year-old daughter, who is a nurse, an 18-year-old son, who just graduated from high school, and a 16-year-old daughter. Additionally, our 6-year-old grandson keeps us very busy. Outside of family, I coach Pop Warner football and love it. I love seeing the kids learn, excel and grow. Whether it’s my own or these kids – they all make me proud.
I am from Northern California – raised in the Bay area – and moved to Southern California in 1994 to attend the University of California, Irvine. I graduated with a degree in biology. However, after interning at a local hospital, I realized pre-med was not for me.
I worked in real estate for a bit prior to becoming a loan officer in 1999. I discovered my passion came from helping others obtain the dream of home ownership. I am able to help people achieve their financial goals by providing different strategies on various loan products. What’s most exciting about my job is through V.I.P. I have access to an even greater variety of loan products, making each individual loan unique and customized to best fulfill the needs of my clients.
Outside of work, I make it a point to stay active, enjoying a variety of sports including playing tennis, soccer and motorcycle racing. I also love spending quality time with my family and friends.

You could say I haven't led the traditional career path in life, having such experiences under my belt like competitive diver at the University of Indiana and skier at the University of Colorado. But new opportunities have always presented themselves to me through years of traveling—many of them in the real estate and sales industries.
While living in Hawaii for four years, I created an investment company focused on acquiring residential properties rising from lower to middle class due to development of up-and-coming neighborhoods. I spent some time in California as well before returning to Colorado.
With a very strong work ethic, I consider myself to be extremely dedicated, paying considerable attention to details and providing the highest standard of service possible. My No. 1 goal is always to live up to the standards set forth by my customers, considering if the roles were reversed I would expect that extra effort myself. I find VIP’s professional ism refreshing, exhibiting the highest level of commitment to its employees as well as its customers.
Most of my immediate family resides near me in Colorado and it has been a pleasure living so close to them for the past several years. I enjoy anything which keeps me active. Whether it’s skiing, mountain biking – I love it all.

I’ve worked in the mortgage industry for eight years specializing in private/hard money. I’ve built my business by prioritizing good communication skills – always keeping the customer in the loop and making sure they are fully informed. The industry is volatile and the process, complex – however, keeping the client informed is of the utmost importance.
Since joining V.I.P., I always feel confident they’ve got my back. I have all the tools and technology necessary to succeed without that overwhelming corporate feeling. There is a genuine team feeling that’s attractive, without corporate hoopla.
Outside of work, I enjoy working with kids. I’ve participated in the Big Brothers program, Junior Achievement and youth groups for Greek American teenagers.

I’ve been in this business for nearly two decades, working both as a processor and a loan originator. I believe giving customers personalized service and paying attention to details, guarantees a problem-free experience. In today’s lending market, details are everything. Making sure we are going that extra mile for our clients, managing expectations, explaining the smallest details – this is all critical to ensuring a great mortgage experience that’s going to keep my customers coming back for life.
V.I.P. shares this same attitude and philosophy, making it an incredible working environment to be a part of. We all pride ourselves on delivering excellent service and embrace one another’s success.
Married for 21 years, I have a daughter in college. I enjoy playing golf, sports in general and taking care of my two pugs.
I am a third generation native of Colorado, with deep family roots in the post-WWII development of the Denver area. My BS in Business came from the University of Colorado and led me along the career path as a business manager and owner for more than 15 years.
My success in business comes from a ‘customer first’ philosophy and assembling a team around me that treats clients with professionalism and respect and is dedicated to the same end result. Clearly, V.I.P. mirrors this type of team and knows how important it is to have professionals all working toward a common goal.
When away from work, my time is spent being a father to four wonderful children. Other passions include involvement in my children’s education, which led me to serve on the school board of a local charter school as Board President. During my tenure, I oversaw a $6 million bond issue to fund a land purchase and the construction of a permanent facility for the charter school.
My passion for people, problem solving and customer service have served me well and continue to be my guide in the residential lending industry.
With more than a decade in this industry, I pride myself on getting to know my customers well. I work to understand their history, their financial goals – both short and long term, as well as what type of service they are looking for. Many of my customers over the years are first-time home buyers who need the extra guidance. To me, this makes all the difference in ensuring a smooth and timely closing. Helping these people achieve the American dream is a gratifying feeling.
I’m a native of Tucson, and am raising my two children here as well in Old Pueblo. I am deeply rooted in the Tucson community and have a true understanding of the real estate and mortgage environment here. Although times are hard, and the industry has changed a lot over the years, I remain steadfast in my commitment to outstanding customer service, guidance from application to closing and most importantly, setting my customers’ expectations. I share V.I.P.’s vision to restore the integrity and reputation of the mortgage business, one customer at a time.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my kids and running, reading and going to the movies.
I’m a Tucson native with 15 years experience in the mortgage industry. From loan origination to operations and management – I’ve done it all and am accustomed to working in fast-paced environments juggling multiple projects and prioritizing deadlines. I’m passionate about helping home buyers and owners through the difficult process, and believe that proper communication and attention to detail is what makes for a happy customer.
In my free time, my wife and I stay busy raising our four children. We enjoy hiking and camping and spending time outdoors.

I have enjoyed mortgage lending in the Colorado Springs/Colorado community for over 15 years now. After obtaining a Finance degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1997, I went to work for a small family based Mortgage Company. There I learned the importance of client relationships, and the value of following through on promises made. Having successfully negotiated the housing market challenges over the past few years, I feel I have gained knowledge of the industry that sets me apart from other mortgage bankers.
I enjoy spending as much time with my family as possible (coaching, camping, fishing and biking). The joy of being a father of two is something I never imagined would be so rewarding. I have a true passion for the Colorado backcountry and try to escape to high elevations as often as work allows. As well as getting outdoors, my wife and I run the local family support group for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. We find great joy in supporting newly diagnosed families through very challenging times.
Having seen the industry head in a direction of larger is better, and decreasing standards, I was looking to align myself with a company that puts people and professionalism first. I feel that joining with the great people of VIP Mortgage Inc., I will be able to grow my business, and continue to supply a level of customer service that every client dreams of.
I spent 16 years in residential real estate before launching my mortgage career in 1992 with Waterfield Mortgage in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Since then, I have helped nearly 2,500 home owners secure financing. In today’s challenging environment, experience is essential and I’m proud to say I bring invaluable experience along with integrity and trust to every deal I close.
Working with V.I.P. has allowed me to have better control in how my clients’ loans are processed. With in-house processing, underwriting and closing, I’m involved every step of the way.
My wife and I raised four daughters and now have six grandkids. We enjoy taking everyone “RVing” and the two of us really enjoy golfing together as well.

I believe that purchasing a home is by far the biggest decision most people will make in a lifetime. Having the best customer care and information can help ease that process. Therefore, it is always my goal is to educate all of my clients, each step of the way, and work as a team, along with business partners to ensure all-around success.
At V.I.P., I have found a team that shares my same philosophy and values. Having been in this business for nearly 15 years, I’ve learned each loan is different and unique and you have to treat every one of them with care. By going that extra mile for my clients, I believe everyone comes away from the process feeling good.
I’m a Colorado native and my husband is retired from the U.S. Army. We enjoy hiking and exploring Colorado’s many hot springs, snow shoeing and spending time with family.
Born and raised in Kansas, I moved to Dallas three years ago and definitely consider myself a proud
Texan. It’s hard to even remember my life in Kansas.
I’ve worked in the mortgage industry for more than 15 years, with the majority of my time spent in
processing. Seeing loans through from start to investor purchasing is an exciting process. Listening to my
customers and helping them realize their dreams is so gratifying, especially in these difficult times.
I believe 100 percent in V.I.P.’s mission: to restore the reputation of the mortgage industry, and I am
proud to be a part of this team, where everyone is like family.
Outside of work, I enjoy anything outdoors – especially skiing in the mountains of Colorado. As for
family, I have two brothers, but my heart belongs to my ‘son’ – a Morkie (maltese and yorkie) named
Iggy.
In my years of mortgage banking, I’ve come to realize that the largest role we play as lenders is underwriting analysis. This consists of reviewing a customer’s credit report, calculating income based off of the tax filings from employed and self-employed customers, as well as the assets needed to close. Our team takes the necessary steps to collect all of this information to determine qualification upfront, ensuring a smoother road to closing.
At V.I.P., these steps go a long way. We’re a tight unit, working as a team with a team attitude – always there for one another. We care about the individual, not just the loan, and we are here to exceed the expectations of everyone involved in the transaction.
I have a 3-year-old daughter that makes every day interesting. Raising her with her mother and watching her personality grow each day, there’s never a dull moment. In addition, I play men’s league softball and coach our competitive tournament team, which is one of the things I enjoy most. It never gets old and I will love it until I can no longer play.

In my 12 years experience in this business, I've worked in wholesale, correspondent and for a brokerage company. I made my way up from administration through closing, funding, shipping then processing to my current position in quality control. I have a keen eye for details, which helps immensely in my job.
Working at V.I.P., I get a first-hand account of top-notch customer service. I've always prided myself on providing unparalleled service and to be backed by a team with the same vision and goals for success is a dream come true.
My past career is colorful; while working as a hairstylist for 24 years, I also served on the Fire Department's Auxiliary while my husband was a Volunteer Firefighter. In my free time, I enjoy crafts of all kinds, camping and spending time with my four kids and three dogs.
I am a native of Tucson, and after working in the mortgage business in the greater metropolitan Baltimore areafor many years, I feel so blessed to be raising my kids back here in the Valley.
Since 2000, I have helped fund more than $350 million in American dreams. With every dollar, my mortgage philosophy has remained the same—to put the customers needs first. I understand that one of life's most important investments is also one of the most intimidating. Through diligence and attention to detail, my focus is always on navigating clients through the process, breaking it down into understandable pieces, in hopes of leaving no questions left unanswered.
With twelve years worth of experience, I am equipped to handle multiple types of loans. I am well versed in conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans, in addition to reverse mortgage products. With V.I.P. at my back, our team of in-house processors, underwriters, and funders are all equipped to handle each step in the loan process, creating more timely and efficient home buying.
In my spare time, I'm actively involved in coaching kids sports, which affords me the wonderful opportunity to spend extra time with my two kids, Andrew and Natalie. My wife, Heather, and I also enjoy golfing, playing tennis and salsa dancing.
I have been passionate about the real estate and mortgage industry for more than 30 years. After receiving my bachelors at Cortland State University, my plan was to become a physical education teacher and coach. A chance encounter with the president of a major real estate company started my career as a specialist in co-op and condominium conversions in Manhattan. I worked there for 10 years before moving to Tucson in 1993. I immediately was drawn to Tucson's exquisite scenery and charm of the Old Pueblo.
While working for Long Realty, U.S. Homes recruited me for on-site sales at their new construction site. For more than a decade, I was a top producer and achieved recognition as an elected member of the sales advisory team.
Knowing what realtor's and clients needs are, as well as how to manage their expectations, I was invited to start a new career in the mortgage industry. I know what it means to provide incredible customer service and build valued relationships with the customers I serve. I hold myself accountable for providing reliable information and dependable service that has helped build my success along the way. I believe Ive found a team at V.I.P. that supports my delivery and breathes the same principles and ideas that show integrity.
My husband and I have one daughter, who is very active in softball. We spend the majority of our weekends traveling Arizona and the southwest with the USSSA Girls Fast Pitch Softball Team. We also love traveling to the White Mountains to ski, fish and relax. We are also proud season ticket holders for both basketball and football and the University of Arizona.
After receiving my bachelors from Wichita State University in 1991, I worked as a credit analyst before beginning my mortgage career with Waterfield Financial in 1996. While at Waterfield, I was named a top producer each year, and then continued this trend with other lending institutions – including Chase, Countrywide, and Envoy – as my career flourished.
In 2011, I joined V.I.P. to work alongside great friends and former colleagues, Kevin Bostad and Jack Teegardin. Here, I feel as if I’ve found team players, who share my same customer service philosophy and ambition to always exceed expectations. The family-friendly atmosphere within our company is like no other and I’m proud to be a part of this growing team.
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing and staying active. I, also, am involved at Watermark Community Church and serve as a leader of a men’s Community Group.

After pitching for the Chicago White Sox for seven years, I began my banking and mortgage career in 2006 as an executive and professional relationship banker at Alliance. Here I received honors as a national top originator.
My focus is on developing personal relationships with clients to ensure I deliver what is best for each individual situation. I am active in the Tucson community with Project AMOR, Wright Flight, and my own children’s foundation. I am also an avid golfer and a member of the Oro Valley Country Club.
My path into this business is unique. After growing up in Durango, where my family's farming and ranching dates back to the late 1800s, I earned a chemical engineering degree from the University of Colorado and spent a decade working in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley. The highlight of my work there was managing a joint venture between Lucent Technologies and Cirrus Logic.
Besides owning a GPS Technology business – Infinity Global Technology – I've spent years in the real estate market, investing in both residential and light-Industrial commercial properties. This is what led me into the mortgage lending business. At V.I.P., my mantra has meaning – Let me work for you! Customer service is top priority and with the company's team approach in every step of the process, I can deliver on all my promises.
I'm a huge sports fan, actively supporting the Denver Nuggets, Denver Broncos and my alma mater's basketball and football programs. I love the outdoors, including fly fishing, and am currently working on publishing my first book “The Colors of Blue,” a commercial novel about human loss and recovery.

Nearly 20 years, I took a part-time position at a California mortgage company to help pay my way through college, and I’ve been in the industry ever since. I’ve worked in a variety of positions including closing and funding, FHA insuring, compliance, and am currently processing loans. I also did a brief stint as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician after going back to school for my national certification. I learned a lot from this experience, however, I always fell back on my expertise in mortgages.
Joining V.I.P. always felt right – from the first interview and impressions of my colleagues, I knew it was a good fit for me. I believe in the company’s focus of putting people first and treating others the way you want to be treated. V.I.P. is committed to making the mortgage experience something clients enjoy, which in turn, helps restore people’s belief in the system and what we are doing.
In my free time, I am always planning my next adventure. I love traveling, hiking, skiing, scuba diving and wake boarding. I also love photography. I have a teen-age son, who swims competitively, so free time is sparse, but if I get a moment to myself, I love reading and watching movies.

While finishing up my degree in Finance at U of A’s Eller College of Management, I worked in fine dining, which, surprisingly, taught me a valuable lesson in customer service. Working with patrons on a daily basis taught me patience and to manage communication and expectations with both my colleagues and customers. I learned to make my customers my top priority and make them feel respected and at ease, because when one’s customers are loyal, you have each other’s backs.
At V.I.P., I find many of these same traits. As a team oriented company, I find that everyone communicates effectively and patiently. My colleagues truly care about the people they serve and will work generously to create the best loan package for each individual’s needs. Being somewhat new to this industry, the learning curve is fast paced and my colleagues are extremely patient with me. The kinship is effortless.
Born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y., I moved southwest 10 years ago and love the desert. I am an avid baseball fan and love to watch my home team – the Mets – play every chance I get. I also enjoy camping, watching movies and snowboarding with friends, and most importantly spending time with my boxer named Bradley.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Queens. In 1990, I began my banking career working first for the Astoria Federal Savings Bank, and later, Chase Manhattan. I worked in a variety of positions including bank teller, CSR, LOA assistant, loan officer and finally, loan processor before deciding to move west.
I chose to move to Arizona after my youngest daughter was diagnosed with severe asthma and it’s the best decision I ever made – both personally and professionally. The experience at V.I.P. has been overwhelming but wonderful. I love how family oriented the company is and how anyone will stop what they’re doing to step in and help out a colleague. It really says a lot about the people and about how V.I.P. treats their employees. It’s inspiring.
As a single mom, spending time with my two daughters is the most important piece of my life. Whether we are at the movies, shopping, watching T.V., it’s being together that counts. I have taught them that giving back to the community is a beautiful thing and makes you appreciate what you have that others may not. We volunteer at cancer walks, juvenile diabetes, cleaning at women’s shelters, donate food to low income families and paint at the Boys & Girls Club.
I am an Arizona native, growing up in Tucson where I cultivated a strong respect and understanding of the desert’s unique and amazing culture. Coming from a family of Wildcats, I set out to the University of Arizona and earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the Eller College of Management. Here, I also received several awards and accreditations that reflected my hard work and determination. While at the University, I found it a privilege to give back to the community by throwing myself into various philanthropically events supported by Phi Gamma Delta, as well as volunteering with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization.
Coming from a family with a successful track record in real estate management, mortgage lending, marketing, and architecture, combined with my enthusiasm for banking, mortgage origination has become a natural and successful transition for me. I have worked in a variety of areas at V.I.P., helping to better understand both the industry and our company’s ‘big picture’ which has left me with a knowledge and understanding that is not seen with other originators. What further sets me apart is my commitment to providing ‘round-the-clock industry leading service, while obtaining the best value and rates the market will offer. With this, my clients are left with a level of satisfaction that reflects our company’s core business statement—“Where People are the Priority”.
I chose V.I.P. because I believe the company is revolutionizing the way lending is done. First, The Company has the strongest correspondent banking relationships with all major banks, which then fight for your business by working with our experienced Lock Department until you have the best mortgage that fits your unique values. Second, the company has implemented both a Quality Control department and a Closing department to ensure your mortgage closes in a fraction of the time of normal industry standards. All this means you can rest assured that your dreams of home ownership are secure, which allows you to spend less time in our office and more time with your family.
I’ve always had energy to burn, so when I’m not working, one can normally find me staying active. Whether I’m tearing up the links, hiking a local mountain, enjoying the city’s night life, or supporting my Wildcats, I’m on the move. I also find it essential to stay on top of industry news and if you would like to receive my monthly report, I’m happy to add you to my mailing list.

I was born in California’s Bay Area and moved to Iran at a young age. In 1979, I was caught in the heart of the Iranian revolution and escaped on horseback in 1982. I have made Albuquerque my home since 1986 and began my financial services career in 1994 after graduating from the University of New Mexico.
For more than 18 years, I have led my clients through the mortgage planning process with their best interests in mind. The relationships I build with my clients are very important to me. I communicate with my clients every small step of the way. The Bakhtiar Mortgage Team understands the direct relationship and impact having a home loan has on our customers’ short-term and long-term financial goals. We are committed to making the process worry free, simple and seamless.
Our philosophy is so similar to that of V.I.P.’s that joining their family made great sense. We share the same core values and are committed to our clients’ best interest – always! Customers come first, no matter what. Our commitment to gaining your trust and respect is a priority and we intend to be your mortgage banker for life.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my two Labradors—Ace and Cal – friends and family. I also enjoy golfing and am on the board of the UNM Men’s Golf Team Top 100 Club, active with the Wounded Warrior Project, and Golf Handicap Chairman at Albuquerque Country Club.

I have more than 20 years of experience providing high-level client service within the financial services industry. My background in mortgage lending includes originating loans, training new employees and developing marketing materials. After earning my finance degree from the University of Arizona, I worked in various positions of retail banking including personal banker, customer service manager, training specialist, business banker and branch manager/vice president of a large, high-level banking center.
My professionalism and attention to detail are traits that result in clients feeling very confident their needs are being met. I’m extremely client-focused and organized, which results in a client experience that exceeds expectations. I strive to provide constant communication to ensure an enjoyable loan experience from start to finish.
I have thoroughly enjoyed joining the VIP family! What impresses me most about the company is the expertise amongst individuals behind each and every department. The owners have nearly 40 years combined experience and they are completely in control of each loan with the ability to close transactions in 15 days or less. All of the processing, underwriting and document preparation is done locally and in-house. V.I.P. handles their business with the utmost integrity.
I dedicate a portion of my time volunteering in my children’s classrooms. While residing in Tucson, I was an active member of Angel Charity for Children, an all-volunteer non-profit fundraising organization focused on the needs of disadvantaged and at-risk children in Pima County. I also enjoy reading, physical fitness, designing/decorating and, most of all, spending time with family.
I began my mortgage career in 1998 with New West Lending and have continued to grow my business over the past 15 years, establishing long-lasting relationships. During my time with New West, I was awarded “Top Producer” and “Loan Officer of the Year" multiple times. I became the preferred lender for several high-profile clients, builders, and realtors and successfully closed out a 280-subdivision for Patton Place/ RJ Springer Homes from 2001 to 2004. I was also the in-house lender for Coldwell Banker Brothers Realty.
I've learned with success, it’s imperative to develop trusted relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and thought leaders, ensuring every loan has a successful closing. When working with clients, I am driven by the principles of honesty and integrity. It’s not just about finding the best loan for my clients that energizes me; it’s helping clients find the most efficient and economical way to finance their home. With today’s more exacting standards of the mortgage market, it is critical to work with seasoned mortgage professionals that can access multiple lending options for every type of borrower. This ensures the most suitable loan products to fit each individual’s needs at the best rates available, as well as superior service and timely transactions.
Through the trials of the real estate crisis, I've been fortunate to prevail and land with an incredible group of individuals at V.I.P. This team shows great work ethic and dedication, putting together the best in-house team of underwriters, closers and funders dedicated to the task of ensuring my clients have the greatest experience every step of the way. It’s an honor working with these people each and every day.
My biggest passion is my family. Along with my three amazing children, a wonderful husband and three dogs, we enjoy boating, golfing and traveling. My daughter rides and competes on her Saddlebred horse, Mexi, while my two sons love football, rock climbing and snowboarding.

I grew up in Southern California, but have very strong ties to the Valley and consider myself a die-hard ASU SunDevil. I have an MBA from Arizona State University and more than 16 years of lending experience in the consumer finance industry. Having personally underwritten more than $100 million in consumer loans and reviewed thousands of credit applications, I am a stickler for detail and work meticulously to find my clients the ideal loan for their needs.
V.I.P.’s attention to detail and customer service focus is what initially attracted me to the team-oriented company. Always striving to make the loan process simple and worry-free by keeping my clients fully informed in each stage of the process is a value I share with my colleagues. I love to work with and meet new people and always make it a priority to build long-lasting relationships.
My wife and I live with our two boys in Phoenix and love to spend time downtime at our condo in Rocky Point, Mexico. We’re also very involved with SunDevil athletics, as well as youth sports.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, then graduated with a degree in business administration from Northwood University in Midland, MI. I relocated to sunny Arizona upon graduating, and after more than 20 years in the home lending arena, began to focus specifically on reverse mortgages and working with the senior citizen community. I am very passionate about this segment of the population and committed to helping my fellow baby boomers achieve their financial goals throughout their retirement years.
I take an educational approach when working with clients about the reverse mortgage product. There is a lot of confusion and misconceptions around the product, and I invite my clients to include their financial advisors, children and anyone else who might help them make this very important decision. I pride myself on truly listening to the needs of my clients and exploring the best options available to meet their individual needs.
As an active member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association, I follow their principles of upholding the highest level of integrity and ethics required when dealing with the senior community. This blends well with V.I.P.’s focus on exceptional customer service. Each loan and each client is treated with integrity and respect, in hopes of making each clients experience nothing but positive. V.I.P. instills strong communication so that clients feel included every step of the way. No question goes unanswered, giving clients peace of mind when the deal is done.
I have been married for 30 years and have two grown children. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, traveling, photography, wine and annual trips to Napa Valley. Besides, NRMLA, I also am a member of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Phoenix and a B2B Senior Networking Group here in town.

I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and received my degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University in 1995. A year later, I headed out west, but didn’t get into the mortgage industry until 2001. From the start, however, my focus has always been to build long-term relationships with my clients and realtor partners. I believe that success comes from making communication top priority, ensuring you have all the necessary tools and information to answer all of your clients’ financing questions in a timely manner.
Buying a home can be quite hectic, and I have a personal investment in helping my clients make what is likely the largest financial investment of their lives. V.I.P. shares my customer-focused philosophy and helps me to make the loan process as simple and straightforward as possible. The V.I.P. team has enabled me to service my clients ten-fold and help attain my goal of making my clients customers for life.
In addition, I am always trying to increase my knowledge and skills. I am a certified instructor with Arizona Department of Real Estate and teach several financing and real estate continuing education courses every month. Outside of work, I spend the majority of my free time with my wife Jennifer and our son Jack. I also love playing golf and get out as often as I can.

I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin – home to the 13-time division champion and four-time Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers. A full-bred cheese head, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Business Administration, and immediately headed west to the land of opportunity and NO snow.
Manhattan Beach in Southern California became home base for the next 22 years. I got over the initial cultural shock quickly, and settled into the beach scene nicely, starting my first professional job with International Paper Co. as a territorial sales manager, corrugated division, in the Los Angeles area. It was during this time that I discovered a true passion – rugby football. I traveled the world playing rugby – Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Bangkok – before coming back and jumping into the mortgage industry. I spent seven years in the mortgage business as both a broker and banker, before moving to Phoenix to run a travel company for a decade. When I returned to mortgages, I found an entirely new world than what I had left.
At Smart Financial Mortgage, I was lucky enough to work with a team of professionals whose time and patience helped me navigate this evolving business. Since partnering with V.I.P., our team has created an even stronger market presence with incredible support staff and a large variety of lending options. V.I.P.’s commitment to restoring the reputation of the mortgage industry speaks for itself. This team’s solidarity and effort to helping one another succeed is like none I’ve ever seen.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying busy. For many years I was the lead rider of the Head Honcho’s in Scottsdale’s Parada Del Sol parade. I am also the founder of the Old Frothonians R.F.C.in the United States, a member of the Old Southwest Rugby Club, and a media relations committee volunteer at the popular Fiesta Bowl.

Fourteen years ago, I began my mortgage career with a sink or swim mentality, and today, I am confident in saying – I can swim with the best of them in this ever-changing industry.
I have worked for both large corporate lenders and small brokerages, and even successfully ran my own brokerage operation for a period of time. Through it all, I’ve built a solid career and reputation on referrals, placing extreme value on the relationships I’ve built through mutual trust and respect. It’s my No. 1 goal to make a strong impression right off the bat with new customers, so from day one they feel they are in good hands and can expect great results.
Since joining V.I.P., I feel completely at home. The camaraderie at our local O.C. branch is incredible; everyone has each other’s backs, and corporate extends that same level of support and encouragement. I feel empowered by V.I.P.’s family philosophy, where everyone genuinely wants one another to succeed.
When I am away from work, one can find me hanging with my wife and daughter, usually doing something active and outside. I have worked in the mortgage industry for more than 28 years and have held nearly every position you can name, from appraisal clerk to DE Underwriter. In 1992, I graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff with a degree in Finance, and jumped right back into the mortgage business working for HomeAmerican Mortgage and PanAm before finally settling in to Allied Home Mortgage for 14 years. Here, I worked in a variety of positions including originating branch manager, Arizona State manager, compliance auditor, and corporate trainer.
Today, I love feeling part of an incredible, professional team, whose work ethic is unmatched. At V.I.P., everyone does a great job communicating and keeping loans processing efficiently and quickly. Our goal is always to make the customer’s experience enjoyable so they come back again and refer us to others.
I have served on the board of the Arizona Association of Mortgage Professionals for four years, and am currently the State President. My husband, who I met in college, and I also stay incredibly busy with our four sons – Nathan, Noah, Nickolas and Noble, who range in age from 11 to 18. We receive frequent calls from the principal’s office, but also find so much pride in the kids’ sports and time spent hiking, fishing, and shooting clays at the gun range.
I graduated from MTI Business College in Sacramento, CA with an associate’s degree in accounting. My experience includes 15 years in mortgages, as well as five years in the title industry. Since joining V.I.P. earlier this year, I’ve found a company with the same customer service ideals as myself. I’ve always prided myself on taking care of my customers, sticking with the mantra: Financing Your Family’s Future. Returning calls in a timely manner is very important and an incredible part of valuable customer service. V.I.P. shares this strong sense of customer value, along with team work and fantastic products and rates to choose from.
In my free time, I volunteer my time occasionally at church, participating in Love Thy Neighbor Ministry, in which I would visit and attend bible studies with the elderly at assisted living facilities. I also have a wonderful husband and two teenage boys. I enjoy spending time with my family and working in my greenhouse.

I was born and raised in Madison WI. I attended U.W.-Madison for Philosophy and Religious studies from 2007-2009. In 2009, I started working full time as a COBRA administrator for a T.P.A. in Madison. My experience with COBRA benefits has helped me prepare for my transition into the field of HR.
I appreciate the opportunity to apply my knowledge in the benefits field and to expand my grasp on employee relations here at V.I.P. The friendly environment at V.I.P. has helped me feel welcome and at home.
I absolutely love to ski, although I must sadly admit I don’t get to the hill enough. I’m looking forward to some golf and lots of sun out in Arizona!
I am a native Coloradoan with a BA in International Business from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and a certificate from the Graduate School of Banking at CU Boulder. I started in the banking industry in 1989, becoming vice president of a locally-owned bank in Grand Junction bank by the age of 25 and overseeing it’s mortgage department. In 2001, I opened my own mortgage company, dedicating myself to helping potential and existing homeowners achieve their financial goals through a wide variety of home loan products at the most competitive prices.
I understand that home financing is often the largest monetary event in a customer’s life and I strive to complete the process enjoyably by:
Listening to what the customer’s needs are,
Analyzing the customer’s current situation and seeking viable options,
Communicating options to help customers make an educated decision,
Executing the customer’s choices efficiently and effectively,
Ensuring the transaction finishes as expected and in a timely manner.
I pride myself on performing at a high ethical standard and believe in partnering with other trusted professionals in related industries. Such partnerships provide valuable resources for clients, as well as for the partnership entities. I am a member of numerous industry and community organizations that promote the community I work in, as well as the professional industry I serve.
A healthy team is central to fulfilling these ideals. I believe in working with a company that provides an environment that empowers employees to grow personally and professionally; provides support and education; encourages an upbeat and healthy mental attitude; and promotes enjoyment of life outside of the work environment and V.I.P. excels in this!
Outside of work, I am a travel enthusiast, having spent a lot of time in Costa Rica, Mexico and Prague. I love the outdoors and play as often as I can.

I took my first job typing credit reports for a credit bureau reporting agency more than four decades ago. Since then, I have worked in a variety of positions in the industry from loan and title closer to underwriter, manager and broker. Before joining V.I.P., I was a sales manager and consultant for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage for 17 years, working eight of those years in the Leader’s Club – an honor reserved for the top 144 consultants in the company. I have extensive training in FHA, VA and Rural Development loans.
I always strive to help my customers achieve their goals of home ownership by listening and guiding them through each stage of the process. I share V.I.P.’s philosophy that making the process smooth, efficient and comforting translates into loyal clients that feel valued. I want my borrowers to become customers for life.
I have been married for 36 years and have two grown children. I currently sit on the board of directors Fremont/Sister City Valdai Russia and the Royal Gorge Association of Realtors' Public Relations Committee. I've also volunteered my time to the Canon City Blossom Festival, Fremont Center for the Arts, Loaves and Fishes. In my free time, I love traveling and spending time with family.

I am a native Phoenician and graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s in Nutritional Science. I worked as a clinical research coordinator until my husband, Tim, recruited me to join his reverse mortgage team in February 2012. The career change has been exciting, challenging, and rewarding. I truly enjoy working with Tim and being a part of the V.I.P. family. There is a real sense of appreciation and ownership that creates an enjoyable, family atmosphere.
As a team, Tim and I are committed to making a difference in each of our clients’ lives. Tim is so passionate about helping the senior community through the reverse mortgage product; I can’t help but be inspired. The key is open communication and making sure our clients have all the information necessary to make an informed decision.
I enjoy gardening, cooking and spending time with my family. Tim and I have two grown children. Our daughter, a doctor of physical therapy, recently returned to the Phoenix area to begin her practice. Our son is finishing his education at U of A in Tucson.
I was born and raised in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Iowa on a full basketball scholarship. I worked for city recreation departments in Iowa and Colorado Springs, CO before entering the private sector. In 1991, I entered the mortgage profession and have kept true to the ‘customer for life’ principal since doing business is what fuels my business. I worked with Norwest Bank, American National Bank, Bank at Broadmoor and Adams Mortgage before joining V.I.P.
I’m excited to be a part of a team that uses the most advanced technology available to secure loans quickly at a low cost. By combining the Internet with advanced processing and automated underwriting systems – all in house – we have taken the mystery out of approving and closing a home loan. Our purpose is to make the process as simplistic and non-stressful as possible for our clients, whether they are buying or refinancing. The knowledge and experience of our V.I.P. family and “The Venik Team’ sets us apart from the competition.
On a personal note, my wife, Sharon, and I have made Colorado Springs our home since 1973; Our daughter, Kim, and her husband and two kids live here also. I enjoy golfing in our beautiful Colorado weather, attending Air Force Falcon football games and mostly, hanging out with my grandsons!

I have been in the mortgage industry for nearly 20 years, making reverse mortgages my niche for the past six years. After seeing the benefits of the program work for my grandmother in Washington State, I knew this could be a tremendous program for the right people in Tucson. Homeowners over the age of 62 consider this program for all different reasons; it’s a big decision and one that takes time to make. My goal is to fully explain the program to my customers, ensuring it is a good fit. While I aim to get all of their information up front in order to make the right decisions for them, I never want my clients feeling pressured in any way.
V.I.P.’s mission statement, “People are our Priority” reflects whole heartedly my business philosophy and the way I have handled my reverse mortgage business. This program is not for everyone but for the right person, it can be a tremendous benefit – I have seen it happen loan after loan. I am thrilled to be part of the V.I.P. team and approaching mortgages in this way.
Networking with senior related professionals in Tucson is important to me. Knowing the resources that are available and to have personal connections with trusted professionals for other services should my clients inquire about such needs. I am currently involved with Elder Care Council, a group of senior related professionals who specialize in providing services to seniors in many areas. I have been involved with the Alzheimer’s Association and the “Task Force Team” for the annual Memory Care Walk.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, my husband and I moved to Tucson 12 years ago for his job. We have two boys, ages 6 and 8. I enjoy the balance of my job at V.I.P. and my time with family. Being involved with kid’s school, church, cub scouts and sporting events during my time away from reverse mortgages, keeps my days full.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Northern Illinois University, and greatly value continued education, both professionally and personally, making it a priority to regularly participate in developmental programs.
I spent the first five years of my mortgage banking career originating loans – first in Tucson and then in the Phoenix Metro areas. During this time, I realized the banking side of the business comes very naturally to me, but I lacked experience and training in the other necessary skill sets of sales and relationship building.I decided to nurture those skills and spent nearly 10 years in sales positions at Pitney Bowes, U.S. West and Verizon before returning to mortgages in 2001. Merging my newly acquired skills with my technical banking skills has created a solid foundation to fulfill my goal of becoming a top loan officer.
When working with my customers, I always try to keep in mind that their particular loan is likely one of the largest financial investments they will ever make, and I need to treat it with the diligence it deserves. As others have said: treat people how I would want to be treated. I take this to heart and believe my principles blend seamlessly with those of my V.I.P. family. From the owners of the business down to each employee, it’s simple – make the next person’s job in the process easier. I witness this commitment to quality every day as my customer’s loan touches each step in our system. Just as impressive is V.I.P.’s technical system that drives our ability to deliver the industry’s best customer service. It is expertly designed and continually enhanced, making V.I.P. the best mortgage operation in the industry. I’m lucky to be a part of this incredible group.
I have a large family spread out from California to my home-town of Chicago, and enjoy spending time with them whenever I can. I am also an avid dog lover, who had to say goodbye to my best friend of 16 years in 2012. I have always been physically active, enjoying a variety of sports including baseball, softball, and golf, and am also involved in my community’s block watch program, helping to keep our community safe.

For 20 years, I have devoted myself to helping clients familiarize themselves with the mortgage lending process and facilitating a simple and concise qualifying process that keeps clients well informed. My clients should walk away from a transaction feeling that all of their questions have been answered and they’ve had a good experience.
Before V.I.P., I worked as branch operations manager for Countrywide Home Loans and Association Mortgage Corp. Since joining the V.I.P. family, I find myself incredibly happy and lucky to be surrounded by the talent here. I love the ability to work from home but still feel connected to a professional team. V.I.P.’s philosophy of putting people first resonates deeply with my worth ethic and I’m proud to be a member of this family.
I am married with four children. I am active with my youngest’s school lacrosse team and volunteer at the Dumb Friends League in Denver.
I’ve lived in Arizona for more than 30 years and enjoy everything this State has to offer. After graduating from Horizon High School here in the Valley, I attended Arizona State University to obtain my bachelors degree in Business. Upon graduating, I worked for several companies in a sales capacity before realizing that the Arizona housing market was where I needed to be.
With more than 10 years of mortgage and banking experience under my belt, I’ve always strived to provide leadership and integrity to my clients. Foremost comes my will to succeed in everything we do at V.I.P. Mortgage. We not only provide mortgages for those looking to obtain the American dream, but we encapsulate the bigger picture – making the communities we live in a better place to raise our families. I am an upfront lender and will always give clients and realtors what they need to know, not what they want to hear. The loan process and buying a home is tough enough; my goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible.
My proudest accomplishments in life are my four kids Taylor, Grace, Caden and Chase. Along with my wife Wendy, we reside in Anthem, AZ. I love to both play and watch golf. I was fortunate enough to attend the 2007 Masters – a dream come true. As a family, we enjoy hiking, playing a variety of sports and traveling, usually heading north during the hotter months of the year.

Nearly a quarter-century ago, Jay Barbour, founder of V.I.P. Mortgage, was the loan officer I referred to for my clients. Acquired from my 27 years in real estate, mortgages and sales, I have proven leadership skills in multiple positions including Arizona Association of Realtors, Phoenix Association of Realtors, President of Citrus Creek HOA, School Board President and Director of Customer Service for a payroll company.
Currently, I am developing a lead generation department called Inside Sales. We have 12 people generating leads for our loan officers, which in turn will pass purchase home loan leads along to their Realtors. V.I.P. has amazing growth still to come and I am excited to be part of the team!
I have been married for 20 years, and we have two children and two rescue poodles. Besides supporting our children in their own endeavors – my daughter is in nursing school and my high-school son plays football and baseball – I also love playing poker.
Both Trisha and I are deeply rooted in the Tucson community. Trisha is a native and I, originally from California, have been here nearly 30 years. I received my bachelor’s in business management, and have been in banking and lending for 15 years – 13, of which, I have been originating loans. Trisha has also been in banking and lending for 15 years, and has originated loans for a decade. Her experience also includes financial investments and obtaining her Series 6 and 63 licenses. Together, we specialize in conventional, FHA, USDA, VA, renovation loans and bonds, and will ensure we achieve close-of-escrow each and every time.
Trisha and I met while working at Bank of America, where we were both named in the top 5 percent of the company’s originators. We continued achieving top honors as we grew our careers together; complimenting each other’s strengths, while sustaining each other’s limitations. Together, we go above and beyond our clients’ needs to make sure they are fully taken care of, whether it is a first-time homebuyer, retired client or high-end affluent client, we will work to get the job done. We’ve even helped clients with other endeavors outside of loans – such as sealing a client’s floor.
V.I.P. has become a great match for the Azares team, putting customers first – always. Throughout the years, Trisha and I have built our business around service, communicating with and educating clients, which is key to all successful transactions. V.I.P. shares this philosophy and believes, from start to finish, our clients stay informed and receive the highest level of customer service possible.
Outside of work, our three crazy young boys keep us incredibly busy. We enjoy watching them play basketball, going to the park, and making trips to the lake and camping. Trisha also enjoys volunteering in the boys’ school.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. However, my father worked for the Army Corps of Engineers so I moved around quite a bit as a kid, including Switzerland and six years in Saudi Arabia. In 1995, after studying business administration at Portland State University, I was given an incredible opportunity to work as a marketing manager for a National Hot Rod Association race team. After traveling the NHRA circuit for a full season, I decided to settle down and begin my career in the mortgage business, which I have found to be incredibly rewarding.
Since moving to the Valley in 2000, I have worked for First Fed, Great Southwest and Pinnacle Capital Mortgage. Working for different companies has given me an opportunity to learn both the broker and banking side of the business while serving both first-time home buyers and high net-worth individuals. I’ve always valued good customer service and what it represents. I love being able to deliver as promised, with no surprises. At V.I.P., the company’s technology, processing and underwriting efficiencies, as well as its dedicated staff makes creating hassle-free transactions accessible each and every time. I wouldn’t trade my team for the world.
Outside of work, I love staying active with my girlfriend and our 11-year-old son. Jet skiing, houseboat trips to Lake Powell, mountain biking, riding dirt bikes and driving our sand rail at the Imperial Sand Dunes are on the top of the list. I also enjoy volunteering with the American Sand Association, an organization dedicated to protecting your right to recreate on public land and promoting a safe recreation experience at the sand dunes.

I finished my education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration. While at Miami University I also played football during my years.
In 2001, I began my banking career with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the picturesque mountains of Vail, Colorado. Then, in 2006, I decided to move to Arizona and continued to work with Wells Fargo and currently live in Scottsdale. Since the beginning of my banking career, I have immersed myself in learning the ins-and-outs of this ever-changing industry. My vast and diverse experience has helped me remain committed to providing the finest personal service and financing products available to my clients and referral partners.
The home is notably one of a person’s largest purchases and most valued assets. I am passionate about seeing my clients succeed in their objectives to either buy a new home or refinance an existing mortgage. With V.I.P., I have found a company who shares this passion and customer service philosophy, putting trust, integrity, respect and honesty, above all else. With the company’s back-office support and commitment to customer service, my clients get the service they have come to expect, and I feel empowered to create unique, memorable and personal experiences for each and every one of them.
It’s nice to have returned to the west and the warm weather. Outside of work, I try to take advantage of this great climate we live in. I enjoy spending time with my wife, my family and being out on the golf course. What’s great about the Valley is I’m able to drive up north and get my fill of snowboarding as well. It’s the best of both worlds.

I have nearly 20 years’ experience within the financial services industry and pride myself on helping each client obtain their individual financial goals and dreams. My experience is extensive, having worked in various positions in retail banking, including personal banker, premier client manager, mortgage loan officer, as well as branch manager for a large banking center, where I managed a team of more than 20 employees. I am also fluent in Spanish, which is helpful in a community that is largely Spanish speaking.
I always strive to educate myself and learn more about the industry. Along the way, I have obtained my Series 7, Series 6 and Series 63 licenses. With this knowledge, I have gained a ‘big picture’ perspective of what my clients truly want to accomplish. Yes, buying a home can be daunting and emotional – especially in today’s economy. However, it’s my job to remind clients that now is a great time to purchase a home. I make it my personal goal to create a borrowing experience one can be proud to share with friends and family. My professionalism and attention to detail are traits that result in clients feeling confident their needs will be met. I am extremely client-focused and will provide constant communication from start to finish. It’s simple – treat everyone as I would want to be treated.
At V.I.P., my team shares the same values and always puts customers first. From the executive team on down, we all strive to make the mortgage process simple and understandable so clients don’t feel overwhelmed; they feel a part of the process.
As a native of Tucson, I enjoy being actively involved in the community, first, with the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Gala Committee, and also as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. I graduated in 1987 from Southwest Tech in Fennimore, Wisconsin with an associate’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting. I worked for several CPAs along the way before moving to the Madison area to work for a non-profit organization called Operation Fresh Start, which hires at-risk youth and build homes for low-income families. I learned from working there that everyone is important no matter if they have difficulties in their personal life. Upon leaving OFS, I worked for several small companies before joining V.I.P. in 2012.
I enjoy working at V.I.P. because I believe you should treat others the way you value being treated yourself. It doesn’t matter if you are a customer, vendor or co-worker, you should feel valued, and at V.I.P., people take this to heart. Customers are No. 1 and each and every individual’s success is supported. We are a genuine team.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three daughters. I like to stamp and scrapbook, spend time with friends and family, read, listen to music, and watch movies. I also help with my youngest daughter’s Girl Scout troop and volunteer at church.
I have 10 years of experience in the operations of non-profit businesses, with a strong focus on project management and quality control. In the fall of 2012, I transitioned my career to mortgage lending, dedicating my work ethic to embracing an outside-in perspective to customer service. It is my firm belief that putting customers first in all decisions and actions should be priority. I am more attached to producing solutions for clients than selling products.
V.I.P. is a great match for my philosophy, supporting my passion for learning and growing and putting people first. The industry has changed dramatically through the years and continues to evolve. It takes dedication to learning, creativity, and a fresh perspective to be able to provide high quality service. V.I.P.’s systems and processes help make this possible by ensuring each customer’s experience is seamless.
In addition to finding solutions and programs that best fit my clients, I am currently supporting the Azares team, which has more than 15 years of experience in mortgage lending. Due to the structure of our team, we are able to tap into each others’ talents and, most importantly, ensure that great solutions and customer service are provided to our clients. As we cooperatively work together – each one of us contributing our special niche expertise – we are all focused on the same goal – putting the client at the center of our business. Through open and honest communication, delving deeply into the problems and questions clients face, and delivering promises through efficiency and accuracy, I strive to provide the service that helps people realize the dream of homeownership.

After growing up outside of Washington D.C. in Northern Virginia, I moved to Colorado in 2002, where I jumped into the residential appraisal business and learned the ins-and-outs of the trade. In 2005, with the housing boom taking off in Arizona, I moved out west to make the most of it. I learned an incredible amount in the two-year rise and subsequent fall of the industry. Appraisal business dried up immensely in 2007 and that is when I made the leap to the mortgage side, which I have found extremely rewarding and challenging all at once.
Since the crash, appraisals have changed a lot and become much more scrutinized. Through it all though, I have remained focused on finding the best solution for my clients. And with V.I.P., it’s easy to do. It’s a fun work environment and I love my co-workers. We know how buying or refinancing a home can take such an emotional toll, so we strive to give our borrowers the best experience with the smoothest, seamless process.
My husband and I have a cat named Marley, who we adore. We love traveling in general – especially camping, kayaking and four-wheeling with our jeep out in the desert.
I was born in Texas and moved to Arizona in 1978 when my father was transferred here by General Motors. After completing school in Mesa, and graduating from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, I worked in General Motor’s auto finance department (GMAC) for three-and-a-half years. I left the work force to stay home and raise my family, and when I returned in 2000, I was recruited by GMAC into its mortgage division. I spent six years with GMAC helping the company and GM dealership employees with home financing needs, and the next seven years with industry competitors perfecting my skills.
I recently joined V.I.P. and chose the company because of its similar viewpoint on customer service. The level of service provided to the client is the most important part of my job. In order to sustain longtime relationships with clients and lifelong customers, V.I.P. has the systems in place to help make the loan process easier and more efficient for the customers I serve. I think it’s a great match.
My husband and I have two teenagers, a boy and a girl, and are heavily involved in their sports programs: football, wrestling, cheer, and swimming. As a family, we enjoy camping and movies. Soon, we will be headed out white water rafting and if I live through it, I will certainly share the experience!

I grew up in Sonora, California and attended the University of Sacramento where I received a degree in Biological Science. After graduating, I served on California’s elite SERT teams as a SWAT tactical commander and feel fortunate to have grown in that role, obtaining valuable leadership skills that I’ve been successful in carrying over into the mortgage field.
For 12 years, I have served both my clients and colleagues alike with the highest regard to customer service. I consider myself a coach, trainer, mentor and leader, and pride myself on providing clear leadership with vision, strategy and tactics to create a winning team. One of my proudest moments was developing a powerful sales training program called “The Art of Negotiating and Closing.” The program builds upon core methods to develop successful negotiations, partnerships, and competitor differentiators to create business for life. By keeping my word and doing what I say I am going to do, I believe separates me and my product from the thousands of brokers vying for your business.
I’m devoted to leading by example and am not afraid to get dirty and work hard. That’s what I love about V.I.P. They, too, operate with such fervent integrity, which is huge for me. Purchasing or refinancing a home can be a stressful experience. I believe in easing that stress by building honest and solid relationships with all parties involved. My goal is to keep everyone informed at every step in the process. The mortgage profession is not a 9-to-5 job and I pride myself on being available at all times. I am thankful that V.I.P. shares this same philosophy when it comes to doing business. Committed to restoring the reputation of the industry, we, here at V.I.P., make it our top priority to create the best possible experience for all our customers and partners alike.
I am married with two great kids. I have a daughter, who is six, and a son, who is just about two years old. I love to golf and play as much as I can when I am not chasing my two children around.

I began my career in residential lending in 1998. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration and Finance in 2000 from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, I gained valuable experience as a licensed financial advisor and commercial lender. For more than a decade now, I have dedicated myself to becoming an expert in the field of residential lending with continuing education, and keeping up with the changes in the industry.
I joined V.I.P. for several reasons, but most importantly because of the company’s work ethic and mission. I am impressed with the exceptional professionalism and care for the customer this team has during the loan process. It is definitely above the crowd. I am committed to making sure I am giving the customer the most accurate information up front, and V.I.P. stresses the importance of quality files in the beginning of the process to eliminate, or at least mitigate, unexpected problems during the loan process. In my opinion, it is the attention to detail in the very beginning of the process, and having a knowledgeable support team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
I am committed to helping make my community a better place to live, work and play! I have been involved with the Canon City Chamber of Commerce since 2000, and am a past president of both the Prospectors in 2009 and the Chamber Board of Directors in 2011. In my spare time, I enjoy golf, mountain biking, recreational sports and spending time with my family.
