I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Journalism, but got into the mortgage business even before graduating. After graduation, I decided to stay with it and I have never looked back.

For more than 14 years, I have been helping customers make one of the most important decisions of their life. As a loan processor, I consider it my job to make the transaction as easy and seamless as possible, helping to alleviate the stress that buying a home can have on clients. I want our customers to be able to focus on more important things, like the joy of homeownership.

My life is a quiet one. My significant other and I have 2 cats and enjoy watching my nephews play sports – football, basketball, baseball – you name it, we’re avid supporters. I began my career as a Loan Processor about 8 years ago, first working as the sole processor for a mortgage broker. In 2008, I moved over to the banker side where I was consistently rated a top performer and landed at my new home here at V.I.P. Mortgage in 2009. It is my responsibility to work with your mortgage banker to ensure that your file moves through the loan process with the utmost efficiency and ease.

I am the very proud mother of 4 children (ranging in age from 8 to 16) who keep me very busy outside of work. You can usually find me at one of their football, basketball or baseball games as either a team mom or fan. My children and I also enjoy going to church and to the movies.

I believe in treating people as I would like people to treat me, so I work hard to ensure everyone is happy and informed.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2009 with a degree in finance, I took some time off to start my family. However, by December, I had joined V.I.P. as an account administrator and love it. The customer service we provide in accounting and HR is tailored towards taking care of our employees – our V.I.P. family. The idea is the less time our employees spend worrying about their jobs, translates to more time dedicated to taking care of our clients. By always providing prompt and meticulous service to our employees, they may commit more of their time and efforts to the customer. It’s truly a family, which is what I enjoy most.

Outside of work, I cherish my time spent with my husband and two kids – Nolan and Kynsley, who definitely keep me on my toes. We like to travel and see extended family as much as possible.
 

I started working in the mortgage industry in May-1998 as a receptionist for a corporate office called National Pacific Mortgage in Anaheim, CA. In 2004 I moved to Mesa, AZ. with my son and husband. I was very fortunate to be able to transfer to a branch in Phoenix as a mortgage loan processor. The company later sold to GMAC mortgage and then again to Homecoming Financial. The company closed Dec. 2006. I worked for multiple mortgage companies after that including VIP Mortgage.

With all of my experience and customer service experience I promote a positive attitude in the work place and try to encourage those around me to make the job less stressful.

Blessed with a loving husband and two beautiful kids Devin 11 and Bella 5 I drive an hour to and from work. I make this sacrifice because I believe in what V.I.P. promotes as a company and find the processing system to be the best I’ve worked in. Having only been here for 8 months I look forward to many years to come as part of the VIP family. 
 

My strong values and ethics are rooted deep inside of me, coming from a small town in Colorado and being the youngest of 10 siblings growing up. After graduating from Colorado State University with a business and restaurant management degree, I found myself in Arizona doing mortgages. I am a Phoenix native and have been in the mortgage industry for 15 years. I began answering phones for a small mortgage company when I was 17 years old. I have been in the mortgage industry since 2002, having spent the first few years working as a preferred-lender for a large, national home builder. As the housing market turned sour, I transitioned away from the builder side to focus on our local market – building relationships with real estate agents – and eventually becoming the in-house lender for one particular real estate agency.

My wife, Stephanie, got into the business in 2005 as a loan closer, also working on the purchasing side. She later transitioned into processing, and today, she is originating loans. Having worked in so many different areas of the business, she has an incredible perspective and immense knowledge that is necessary in guiding clients through the entire loan process.

I graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. After a brief stint in real estate, I worked in the securities business for 13 years at Charles Schwab. I joined VIP in 2010 as head recruiter and senior vice president of Business Development. Currently, I am developing the secondary and hedging department for the company.

I just bought my first home with my boyfriend last year.  He is going to school to be a Nurse and will graduate in December of 2011, other than the two of us we have two little dogs named Ali and Lucy they keep us pretty busy since they are the princesses of the house.

Customer service to me is how I would like to be treated when buying a home or any product.  I know that I like to have a quick response time to my questions.  You want to feel like you are calling someone that is part your family who is happy to hear from you and not bothered because you might have many questions.

I started out my journey in the real estate and mortgage industry in 1985 when I gained my first employment in the industry as an on-site property manager for a small, 25 unit apartment community.  Over the next decade, that experience grew through the stages of property management to the management level position of District Manager overseeing in excess of 1500 units, across 5 states.

I earned my Arizona Real Estate Salesperson license in 1996 and Arizona Real Estate Broker’s license in 2003 (both currently inactive status).  My broad spectrum knowledge of the real estate industry and deep interest in the financial side of the business naturally led me to expand in 2002 and partner in the opening of Ideal Mortgage Specialists in early 2002.  I obtained an Arizona Mortgage Broker license in 2007.

I am a native Southern Californian, born in Newport Beach and raised in San Juan Capistrano. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, where my mother and father owned several businesses and taught me that work ethic and commitment, relationships and reputation, integrity and trust are the driving forces behind every successful business. I began my career in the mortgage industry just over five years ago as a loan processor.  Within the first year, I trained and transitioned into a mortgage closer, drawing up loan documents, funding the loans and corresponding with our investors that purchased our loans.  Within the past year, I transitioned once more to the loan originating side of things and joined VIP Mortgage.  My experience with previous positions has enabled me to really understand all facets of a mortgage loan from the prequalification and origination of the loan through the very end when it is sold to an investor.  Because of this I am very diligent in my work, and able to successfully navigate a loan from start to finish, as well as explain the entire process to my clients.
 
I enjoy spending time with my family and our three dogs.  We are active in our church and I dedicate some of my spare time each week to volunteering with our youth ministry.

I joined VIP Mortgage, Inc. in December of 2008 as the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations.  In my current role I serve as a focal point for communication with VIP’s Sales and Operations Teams, Correspondent and Broker Relationships, Warehouse facilities and State and Federal Agencies.  I bring 10 years of mortgage and title experience to VIP. 
 
Leveraging an ever-expanding portfolio of qualifications covering national licensing and compliance, correspondent and broker relationships, secondary marketing and warehouse management, I have proven time and again my flexibility in responding to the changing industry to “wear many hats” in the effort to meet and exceed corporate goals and  challenges.  Tasked with providing leadership through start-up growth and turnaround situations I have repeatedly proved my ability to deliver strong and sustained results. I have 35 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, successfully managing one of the largest and most productive mortgage processing centers for Waterfield Financial Corp in Denver, Colorado and Phoenix, Arizona. My team closed more than 800 loans per month, with the lowest cost per loan in the company. After 20 years at Waterfield, I played an instrumental role in getting V.I.P. up and running as a member of the company's executive team.

My current position is Chief Compliance Officer, which includes juggling a multitude of responsibilities such as establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that compliance throughout the organization is both effective and efficient. What I’ve enjoyed most about joining V.I.P. is the teamwork attitude that management desires and supports. Success to them is defined by seeing others around them succeed. Something I both admire and strive toward.

I’ve been married for 36 years and enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren. I enjoy traveling, reading and going to Hot Rod shows with my husband and his 1947 Chevy Pickup.

For more than 10 years I’ve been a top producer working at mortgage banks including Express Line Mortgage, Mortgage Central and Sterling Home Mortgage. I’ve prided myself on being available to my clients 24 hours a day. I studied business finance and marketing at Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University after completing four years of service in the U.S Air Force. I received my practical experience as a mortgage originator starting in 1988 at Mellon Bank, Anchor Savings Bank and Waterfield Financial. Diversified needs of my client base prompted me into the mortgage broker world in 1997 where I originated for 13 years at Spectrum Financial and Security Mortgage.

With the recent challenges in the mortgage industry, I made the move to V.I.P. because of the advantages of being employed with a direct lender. This gives me the ability to better serve my clients by providing a more efficient, streamlined mortgage process. Upon completing my finance degree from Colorado State University in 1993, I joined Waterfield Financial where I led in managing and producing the most closed units, volume and revenue in Arizona for seven years.

With Waterfield, I earned President Club status and co-managed and grew the Scottsdale office to become the largest and most profitable branch in the company. I was able to keep my team together when American Home Mortgage acquired Waterfield in 2006, continuing to earn top honors including AHM Top Status with $300 million in closed volume in one year.

Previously in wholesale, I always strived to provide a loan officer with all the correct information to experience a fast and efficient closing. The same philosophy holds true at V.I.P. My husband, Lance, and I have 5 children, two grandchildren with one more on the way, and stay busy keeping track of their hectic lives. Additionally, we support several charities in the valley including the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley. I am also a member of AMLA and support the active role we all should take in our industry.

fter graduating from Vanguard University of Southern California, I taught English in China and Poland before settling at JP Morgan/Chase Bank for five year as VP of national accounts in Southern Arizona. I was born in Louisiana and moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1983. Until 1991, I stayed at home to raise my two daughters and four step children. Then in 1992, I reentered the workforce and worked for a variety of industries before spending nearly seven years in the lending field.

Customer service and helping people has always influenced my career choices. Upon receiving my BA at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, I worked at a non-profit helping the Windsor communities recover from a massive tornado. I then went on to work as a personal banker, primarily focusing on 2nd mortgages. This is what sparked my interest in lending.

Since joining VIP, I’ve whole-heartedly embraced the “team” mentality throughout the company. It’s so apparent that every employee here is valued and is treated like part of the family. For me, customer service is about treating others how you would like to be treated and VIP shares that common value and strives to always do what is best for the client.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and two cattle dogs. We live in Denver, CO and this fall, I will start coaching after-school lacrosse for high school students.

The mortgage business has been a part of my life for a very long time. My mother’s a 40-year veteran in real estate, and I, myself, have been in the business for 13 years. I have experience in all the major areas of the industry from privately held banks, large corporate lending institutions to running my own brokerage for six years.

Personally, I am an avid golfer and surfer. I’ve lived in Southern California my entire life, except for in college when I earned my BA in History with a minor in Political Science from the University of Arizona in Tucson. You could say I haven't led the traditional career path in life, having such experiences under my belt like competitive diver at the University of Indiana and skier at the University of Colorado.  But new opportunities have always presented themselves to me through years of traveling—many of them in the real estate and sales industries.

While living in Hawaii for four years, I created an investment company focused on acquiring residential properties rising from lower to middle class due to development of up-and-coming neighborhoods. I spent some time in California as well before returning to Colorado.

I have enjoyed mortgage lending in the Colorado Springs/Colorado community for over 15 years now. After obtaining a Finance degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1997, I went to work for a small family based Mortgage Company. After receiving my bachelors from Wichita State University in 1991, I worked as a credit analyst before beginning my mortgage career with Waterfield Financial in 1996. While at Waterfield, I was named a top producer each year, and then continued this trend with other lending institutions – including Chase, Countrywide, and Envoy – as my career flourished.

In 2011, I joined V.I.P. to work alongside great friends and former colleagues, Kevin Bostad and Jack Teegardin. My path into this business is unique. After growing up in Durango, where my family's farming and ranching dates back to the late 1800s, I earned a chemical engineering degree from the University of Colorado and spent a decade working in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley. Besides owning a GPS Technology business – Infinity Global Technology – I've spent years in the real estate market, investing in both residential and light-Industrial commercial properties. While finishing up my degree in Finance at U of A’s Eller College of Management, I worked in fine dining, which, surprisingly, taught me a valuable lesson in customer service.  Working with patrons on a daily basis taught me patience and to manage communication and expectations with both my colleagues and customers. I learned to make my customers my top priority and make them feel respected and at ease, because when one’s customers are loyal, you have each other’s backs.

Born and raised in Staten Island, N.Y., I moved southwest 10 years ago and love the desert. I am an avid baseball fan and love to watch my home team – the Mets – play every chance I get. I also enjoy camping, watching movies and snowboarding with friends, and most importantly spending time with my boxer named Bradley.

I am an Arizona native, growing up in Tucson where I cultivated a strong respect and understanding of the desert’s unique and amazing culture. Coming from a family of Wildcats, I set out to the University of Arizona and earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the Eller College of Management. Here, I also received several awards and accreditations that reflected my hard work and determination. While at the University, I found it a privilege to give back to the community by throwing myself into various philanthropically events supported by Phi Gamma Delta, as well as volunteering with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization.

I was born in California’s Bay Area and moved to Iran at a young age. In 1979, I was caught in the heart of the Iranian revolution and escaped on horseback in 1982. I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin – home to the 13-time division champion and four-time Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers. A full-bred cheese head, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Business Administration, and immediately headed west to the land of opportunity and NO snow.

Manhattan Beach in Southern California became home base for the next 22 years. I got over the initial cultural shock quickly, and settled into the beach scene nicely, starting my first professional job with International Paper Co. as a territorial sales manager, corrugated division, in the Los Angeles area. It was during this time that I discovered a true passion – rugby football. I traveled the world playing rugby – Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Bangkok – before coming back and jumping into the mortgage industry. I spent seven years in the mortgage business as both a broker and banker, before moving to Phoenix to run a travel company for a decade. When I returned to mortgages, I found an entirely new world than what I had left.

I attended the University of New Mexico where I played soccer for the Lobos and graduated with a degree in Communication.  After graduating, I began my financial services career at a local credit union helping retirees manage their benefits and retirement funds post employment. And after three years, I dove into the mortgage business and have been lending ever since.

I have worked in the mortgage industry for more than 28 years and have held nearly every position you can name, from appraisal clerk to DE Underwriter.  In 1992, I graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff with a degree in Finance, and jumped right back into the mortgage business working for HomeAmerican Mortgage and PanAm before finally settling in to Allied Home Mortgage for 14 years. Here, I worked in a variety of positions including originating branch manager, Arizona State manager, compliance auditor, and corporate trainer.
 
Today, I love feeling part of an incredible, professional team, whose work ethic is unmatched. At V.I.P., everyone does a great job communicating and keeping loans processing efficiently and quickly. Our goal is always to make the customer’s experience enjoyable so they come back again and refer us to others.

I have served on the board of the Arizona Association of Mortgage Professionals for four years, and am currently the State President.  My husband, who I met in college, and I also stay incredibly busy with our four sons – Nathan, Noah, Nickolas and Noble, who range in age from 11 to 18. We receive frequent calls from the principal’s office, but also find so much pride in the kids’ sports and time spent hiking, fishing, and shooting clays at the gun range.

I was born and raised in Madison WI.  I attended U.W.-Madison for Philosophy and Religious studies from 2007-2009.  In 2009, I started working full time as a COBRA administrator for a T.P.A. in Madison.  My experience with COBRA benefits has helped me prepare for my transition into the field of HR.

I took my first job typing credit reports for a credit bureau reporting agency more than four decades ago. Since then, I have worked in a variety of positions in the industry from loan and title closer to underwriter, manager and broker. Before joining V.I.P., I was a sales manager and consultant for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage for 17 years, working eight of those years in the Leader’s Club – an honor reserved for the top 144 consultants in the company. I have extensive training in FHA, VA and Rural Development loans.

I always strive to help my customers achieve their goals of home ownership by listening and guiding them through each stage of the process. I have been married for 36 years and have two grown children. I currently sit on the board of directors Fremont/Sister City Valdai Russia and the Royal Gorge Association of Realtors' Public Relations Committee. I've also volunteered my time to the Canon City Blossom Festival, Fremont Center for the Arts, Loaves and Fishes. In my free time, I love traveling and spending time with family.

I worked for city recreation departments in Iowa and Colorado Springs, CO before entering the private sector. I spent the first five years of my mortgage banking career originating loans – first in Tucson and then in the Phoenix Metro areas. I have a large family spread out from California to my home-town of Chicago, and enjoy spending time with them whenever I can. After graduating from Horizon High School here in the Valley, I attended Arizona State University to obtain my bachelors degree in Business. Upon graduating, I worked for several companies in a sales capacity before realizing that the Arizona housing market was where I needed to be.
 
With more than 10 years of mortgage and banking experience under my belt, I’ve always strived to provide leadership and integrity to my clients. Trisha is a native and I, originally from California, have been here nearly 30 years.  I received my bachelor’s in business management, and have been in banking and lending for 15 years – 13, of which, I have been originating loans.  Trisha has also been in banking and lending for 15 years, and has originated loans for a decade. Her experience also includes financial investments and obtaining her Series 6 and 63 licenses. Trisha and I met while working at Bank of America, where we were both named in the top 5 percent of the company’s originators. We continued achieving top honors as we grew our careers together; complimenting each other’s strengths, while sustaining each other’s limitations. Born in Malibu, California, I spent the majority of my childhood in New Jersey before heading to Ohio where I graduated high school. Following graduation, I attended New Mexico Military Institute with a full football scholarship and received my Associates Degree in Business Management.  I finished my education at  Miami University in Oxford, Ohio graduating with a  Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration.  While at Miami University I also played football during my years.

In addition to finding solutions and programs that best fit my clients, I am currently supporting the Azares team, which has more than 15 years of experience in mortgage lending. Due to the structure of our team, we are able to tap into each others’ talents and, most importantly, ensure that great solutions and customer service are provided to our clients. As we cooperatively work together – each one of us contributing our special niche expertise – we are all focused on the same goal – putting the client at the center of our business.  Through open and honest communication, delving deeply into the problems and questions clients face, and delivering promises through efficiency and accuracy, I strive to provide the service that helps people realize the dream of homeownership. 

A native of Tucson, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and friends in the diverse activities that Arizona has to offer.  Our free time is spent boating in the surrounding lakes, enjoying the scenic White Mountains, and camping outdoors.  At home, we have the privilege of housing a service dog who makes a delightful addition to our family.  I’ve also stayed connected with my passion for social service by volunteering on the Board of Directors for Our Family Services.

After growing up outside of Washington D.C. in Northern Virginia, I moved to Colorado in 2002, where I jumped into the residential appraisal business and learned the ins-and-outs of the trade. In 2005, with the housing boom taking off in Arizona, I moved out west to make the most of it. I learned an incredible amount in the two-year rise and subsequent fall of the industry. Appraisal business dried up immensely in 2007 and that is when I made the leap to the mortgage side, which I have found extremely rewarding and challenging all at once.
 
Since the crash, appraisals have changed a lot and become much more scrutinized. Through it all though, I have remained focused on finding the best solution for my clients. And with V.I.P., it’s easy to do. It’s a fun work environment and I love my co-workers. We know how buying or refinancing a home can take such an emotional toll, so we strive to give our borrowers the best experience with the smoothest, seamless process.
 
My husband and I have a cat named Marley, who we adore.  We love traveling in general – especially camping, kayaking and four-wheeling with our jeep out in the desert.

I am a second-generation Arizonan.  I was born and raised in Peoria, then went on to Northern Arizona University where I graduated with a degree in Business Administration.  After graduation I moved back to the valley where I spent 14 years doing sales in the health care sector.  My most recent job was a business consultant for Procter & Gamble where I implemented strategies to improve the physician’s financial situation.

Since joining V.I.P., I have thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie amongst the company’s loan officers. The family atmosphere they pledge is indeed real and it’s a great team to be a part of. My goal is to extend that family atmosphere to my clients.  It’s our priority is to simplify the process for customers, help you achieve your financial goals – whatever they may be – in hopes of building lifelong partners and customers.

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my two children.  I have a boy and a girl who both attend private school and are heavily involved in competitive soccer.  They’re activities take up most of my free time, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I am an Arizona native, born and raised in Prescott, AZ. After graduating high school, I began working immediately in sales; first, in life insurance and then 13 years in the car business as a fleet manager and director. I moved to Phoenix in 1986 and have participated over the years in mastery events to broaden my growth of the mortgage business, as well as the business coaching program Building Champions. I embody a love for this industry and take it very seriously.

My motto is “building lifelong relationships one loan at a time.” For 13 years, I have seen this business through the good times and the bad, and for the past three years, I have managed my own branch in Chandler.  I spend a great deal of time with my clients listening, understanding and working on becoming their trusted advisor. I become personally invested in helping each of my clients overcome the challenges that are present in today’s current market.

V.I.P. offers a different approach in the business model than others I have worked with in this industry. The company’s out-of-the-box methodology and similar customer service style is refreshing to be a part of. V.I.P. is very transparent, upfront, with no false promises and that is something I can be proud of.

As a true Arizonan, I love all things outdoors, especially camping, four-wheeling quads and playing golf. I also enjoy just relaxing and hanging with friends and family.
