I entered mortgage banking over 26 years ago. The bulk of my years have been spent in the area of processing, building a knowledge base that lead me in the later years into operations management, closing, and post-closing.
The one true concept of mortgage banking I have learned over my time in the industry is that this is a team sport. It is full contact; wear pads and helmets, because you can’t do this alone. Which is why the Team concept here at VIP makes it the successful company it is, and a place I could not be more pleased to be.
I am married, no children, with two dogs. I prefer to spend my free time outside, camping, a week at Lake Powell on a houseboat with friends or even working in the yard.
