I am a native Southern Californian, born in Newport Beach and raised in San Juan Capistrano. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, where my mother and father owned several businesses and taught me that work ethic and commitment, relationships and reputation, integrity and trust are the driving forces behind every successful business. My parents also taught me that in every crisis there is opportunity.
I received my first taste of the significance of customer service when I worked at the Ritz Carlton for seven years as a food and beverage manager. I learned to really listen to the customer’s needs, always put them first and hopefully manage to exceed their expectations. When I switched to the mortgage industry in 2001, I knew that my talent for working with people along with my entrepreneurial instincts would be a great combination for growing my own business.
Partnership with V.I.P. was such an easy decision for me and my team. The company’s core values lie so heavily on customer service, entrepreneurial spirit and teamwork – it was like a custom fit. Building long-lasting relationships based on integrity, commitment and follow-through – those are the keys to success.
My wife Laureen and I have two young daughters and love that we are raising them not far from where we both grew up. Having grown up just minutes from world-class surfing beaches and a couple of hours from ski/snowboard Mountains, I know I wouldn’t trade this for the world. The OC is like living in an endless summer where surfing, skateboarding; golf and all outdoor activities are part of the regular lifestyle.
